Oh, yes I did just say that. I challenge you to make and use a tear bear (or other fuzzy little creature) on a card or layout. You don't have to use mulberry paper - any cardstock or vellum will do. Yes it will look silly. Get over it! Think snowmen, Easter bunnies, Halloween ghosts and monsters, your own pets - DD and I made a Yeti, and he's removable and pose-able. And pretty darn cute, if I don't say so myself. So, make a thing and show it off   grammadee, when you get the chance, would you please add the Tear Bear Challenge to your list? |

Oh my goodness! I just commented on this lo on another thread and the first thing I thought of when I saw your Yeti was tear bears! I actually have a tag that was sent to me many years ago with a beautiful tear bear on it.

Awesome page and yeti! I sincerely doubt I will accomplish this myself. I could try to make my dog or a cat...but I'm really untalented in this way!

I never did tear bears when they were more popular but I gave them a shot for this challenge. I only had one color of mulberry paper. I made them into mermaids using cricut cuts.  |

What a cute Yeti, msliz! It so perfect for your layout! Your layout is adorable, DawnMcD! Besides the awesome tear bears, I love all of your little touches and the way you used Nuvo drops on the starfish and background clusters. I just popped in here to check out the tear bears. Here is my "tear bear". Actually I cheated. I cut the collie with my Silhouette, and then just tore some of the layers. I had no mulberry pp (looked for it for quite a while, but no luck) so I used a very thin sheet of white sb pp I found in a drawer to tear several layers of the dog's ruff.  Life on the farm 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This also qualifies for a number of different challenges. I will link it again in the team challenge thread, and post notes in the other challenge threads, but this was the one I did the page for. |
