Fenton closed a number of years ago.
They were located in WV near the WV/Ohio state line.
I have a number of vases, baskets, and bells from the company. Don’t know if they are worth anything.
Never seen a piece like that. The painting looks like Fenton though.

Yes it is and it is a fancy candy box the type of candy that you get at a chocolate shop.
I can tell you that it at least 70 years old. Probably older. My parents had that same one.

Fenton use to be on QVC regularly when they had 24 hour collectible day. I have one piece from my aunt. They had been around for decades...kind of sad they shut down. This actually does not look like Fenton to me. I miss the heydays of collectibles...Hummels, porcelain dolls, Boyd’s Bears, etc.

It's Westmoreland milk glass in the "Roses & Bows" pattern.

I can remember seeing a candy box that had insets to hold the chocolate. I am thinking that that box got put on a shelf and never moved after that.
And now that I am thinking about it: My great aunt worked for fanny farmer in the 30s ( maybe 20s. She had a shelf full of candy boxes, probably came from the store she worked at.

Does it have a "w" in an oval shape symbol under the lid or bottom?

What is a fanny farmer!!? It was a candy store, much fancier than see's. They did spun sugar baskets and bowls. Fancy chocolate eggs with a "yolk" center. Fudge, caramels. They made their product in the store.

I bought a box a few weekends ago at an Antique store and the tag said it was fenton. I told my hubby, it doesnt say anything or have any markings, not that I would know what they would even be. lol. But I bought it anyway because I liked it and thought it would be cute to put my rings in on top of my dresser. Your post got me to google and I found the box and it has matching pieces! I got this box.... but I only paid. $12. Cute Glass box.

All Fenton is not marked.
Glass identification can be difficult because many pieces weren't marked and the companies all freely copied each other's molds and patterns.
