What/how is your favorite way to clean wood floors? Real wood, shiny wide plank dark wood floors? We just moved into this house last month, and alter had wood floors at our old house, they were 1920s style thin plank oak floors.
I’m thinking an official wet cleaning. I sweep them daily (we have central vac) so they’re dust and dog hair free.

Murphy’s oil soap is reliable and smells good. I have started using this neutral cleaner that I got from a tile distributor. It cleans all sorts of things. If you want to spray and mop, Home Depot or Lowe’s should have a kit. Amazon probably does too.

Don't use orange glow or you will have every ant in the state in your house.
Swifter was good for us.

Bona created a film after awhile. Swiffer is working nicely, I have high gloss dark hand scraped wood floors...lovely but shows ever speck.

I had old, old oak wood floors and used mop and glow. It worked great, gave a good shine and protected the wood as well. After 30 years of using mop and glow, I saw no damage and they still looked as good as they did the day we moved in. I know it sounds weird, but it was so easy to use and great for the wood.

We use Bona but you can also use a damp soft cloth or paper towel and olive oil. There's some good tips on Pinterest.

That’s what I used at the old house, and thought it was my imagination. I have a big container left though, so I might periodically use it to get rid of it...

You want the Enjo floor system. Brilliant. Just water and the fibres. Dead easy.

I use bona and Iove it. No film at my house. I also use method’s wood cleaner. It costs less than bona but works as well. And it has a wonderful almond scent.
