Does anyone use Dermaflash? The older I get, the more fine, white hair I have growing on my face. I have tried many ways of getting rid of it. I don't want to spend the money without honest reviews.

Thanks for the tip. Do you use these dry or with soap?

Thanks for the tip. Do you use these dry or with soap? Dry. There are some YouTube videos that I watched to learn how to use it. They were a pea recommendation

How often do you use these? Every day? Oh heck no. As needed - which for me is about every two weeks or so.

To be honest, I have never had any type of waxing done, I got a facial last week and asked about waxing and was shocked to find out a wax usually needs to be done about every 2 weeks. I can’t imagine going in every 2 weeks to get waxed. I have a few chin “whiskers” and they really bug me.

I think it really varies from person to person. I don’t really have any any other facial hair that I’d consider waxing (every once in a while a renegade hair pops up on my chin, but I just pluck those - it doesn’t make sense to wax for those things). But everyone has that very fine “fuzz” to some degree or another and these razors are awesome at getting that off. You do have to get the right angle, though, so a video can be really helpful.

I got the Dermaflash for Christmas 2 years ago and loved it the few times I used it. It only comes with about 6 blades and they are very expensive to replace. And you can't use a blade more than once. It's designed to use once, take off the blade (it won't go back on) and charge the next time you use it. So you can really only use it the amount of blades that you have. I didn't use mine for a while and when I tried charging it it wouldn't charge. Once I looked at reviews it seems to be a major problem. It's too bad because it would be a good product.

I can’t imagine going in every 2 weeks to get waxed. I have a few chin “whiskers” and they really bug me. I bought a wax melting electric unit on Amazon. I use it about every couple of months on chin hairs, plucking the few regrowth stray hairs as needed. I have found that over the year of using this, I have fewer and fewer hairs growing back. I imagine it is getting the roots of those that don’t regrow. It is simple to do, and I still have at least 3/4 of the wax left in the container. A friend has one and she throws the wax back into the pot figuring all the hairs will just sink to the bottom. That may be fine, but I toss mine. The wax isn’t expensive, and you just put a thin layer on. Just enough to catch the hairs. After doing my own, I would never pay to have it done. The machine and wax kit was around $35 or so. Probably the cost of a waxing? This looks like the unit I bought. I like that you just have to place the wax can into the unit instead of pouring wax bits in to melt. I also bought some replacement cardboard ‘collars’ that go around the can and you can just remove the can and collar and throw it away when it is empty. The unit itself stays totally clean. You can buy different types of wax, from a honey gently wax to harder versions if you want to wax your legs or other body parts. www.amazon.com/GiGi-0225-Wax-Warmer/dp/B0030ZRS7A/ref=pd_bxgy_194_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0030ZRS7A&pd_rd_r=K4MHY2DZ7V99ZMS20D65&pd_rd_w=74pBU&pd_rd_wg=jlWD5&psc=1&refRID=K4MHY2DZ7V99ZMS20D65

If you have dark chin hairs that bother you consider electrolysis or laser hair removal. Electrolysis only if they are light, the laser needs a contrast between skin and hair, that's how it 'locates' the hair and knows where to send the energy. It's not very expensive for smaller sections and completely worth not having to maintain with any other method.

I've read the reviews on the Dermaflash. I think it works, but as OP suggested, so do the cheap disposable single-use blades. I buy these based on a pea recommendation: tinkle bladesI also use this for those times I need something quick: flawless touch

I learned how to use a straight razor in Japan a million years ago. We used Ponds cold cream with the razor to remove hair. I have a whole bunch of these razors in my bathroom because I am too scared I will cut myself now if i use them on my face. They are lethal. I bought them at the Japanese grocery store in town here and they were very cheap. I am not sure if I like them or not as all I have done is cut something else with one.

You just have to get the right angle which I personally had a tough time with cause I have never "shaved" my face before like a man would. But it did work well at getting rid of the dead skin cells and the fine fuzz once you got the hang of it. The youtuber, Angie of Hot & Flashy, reviewed the flawless touch and I think she liked it. She gives great reviews.

Has anyone ever found an at home laser that actually works? I bought the Slik N for my DDs and sort of me. I'm too fair and pale for it to work for me but I do try anyway. I figured a lifetime of razors, shave cream, some waxing etc tgis machine was worth a try. We got the largest window (area that zaps) one so they could do their legs, armpits, even arms for one DD. You can do your lip but not above that. They did notice some hair went away and a slow down in growth but your supposed to be consistent with it for 18-24 months which it said was the entire growth cycle.
