Linda what a wonderful album for him! and i'm sure he'll like it; if not, send it to me  i think you deserve a huge pat on the back for powering through those train photos; pretty sure that would have put me to sleep  i really love the cute paper you used on the title page!

I finally sat down and tallied things up, I am sure I missed some but I was able to finish 20 home projects for a total of 27 points. I also got 17 layouts done for a total of 110 and about 9-10 hours of organizing over hte last few days. Bringing my first month total to 147 not too shabby!

Thank you. Title page paper is Photo Play's Paper Crane collection - as soon as I saw it, I had to buy it.
I thought the train photos would be the death of me...I like trains and all but...not THAT much

kiwigirl - they are amazing! I really like the black backgrounds and how they showcase the pp. We should make a black-background challenge!!! I'm impressed with how you get the nuvo drops so evenly spaced and sized. I tried, and they look OK, but not great like yours. Did you know that the official name for a cat with it's tongue sticking out like that is "blepping"? A Cat "bleps"  Fun fact for the day!

kiwigirl your pages are fan-freakin-tastic!! that's definitely not a collection i'd have bought, either, but oh what you did with it girl... my favorites are your kitty pages  he's so darn cute! and kitbop blepping is just weird, but TFS! we have one cat who does it constantly and it's so funny. you can even touch his tongue and he keeps it hanging out  and seriously, who chose that name and why did they name it in the first place? i love ridiculous trivia like this!

Thank you joyfulnana, kitbop, stinkerbelle and grammadee! I've always loved a black background, I generally do white but often I'll do black. Sometimes a collection just needs the black to pop, Basic Grey Highline was definitely one which loved being on black. I just started using this months collection, Amy Tangerine and it looks good on black too. Which is helpful because black backgrounds are so much easier to photograph! I did not know it was called blepping!  My cat doesn't do it enough, I love it when he does though  |

Here's one that is a re-do of an older layout I just didn't like. The photos are far from great but they were printed and I'm too lazy to edit Cross posted with the stash challenge. It also meets the travel (the photos are at Disney), put a dot on it (the last of my Mickey heads), paper pad, and the sparkle and shine (glitter paper stars) challenges. (Also I didn't use enough die cuts/ephemera to earn a point but I did manage to get real ephemera on this page!)  I like it! |
