Whew - got this done "under the wire" - we leave for camping in a couple of hours, but I was up early so finished this this morning. I won't be scrapping for 5 days which makes me a little sad, but gotta have memories and photos to scrap! There are some holographic sticker here (shells) that don't show up true in the photo. A couple of quick pages this morning. I was going to wait until I got to town to print a larger photo for the second page, but my fingers were itching to do some scrapping, so I decided to do the first page today. Then I thought I may as well get the second page ready while all my papers are out. Decided to share it with a 4x6 photo lying on it: will glue down the 5x7 when I have it printed. Love that take on the sketch, kitbop! I love how you used the doilies, and how the pinks and purples in your background evoke sunset/sunrise: perfect for your beach photo. And the title is spot on! |

I have got to stop now, I've done 8 DT LO's and I'm sure people will be bored looking at so many on 1 blog post! Another black background and 1 point for a LO, 1 point for Sharing, 1 point for a Smaller Than 4x6 photo, 1 for outdoors, 1 for Manu - Doodlebug, 1 for Arrows. 1 for Ephemera, 1 for Word-Up and 1 for a Ketchup - Strip The Sheets. So 9 points. And yeah, I haven't missed one challenge, I didn't add Nuvos to this one for a change!   |

These are sheets out of a Paper House 12x12 pad called "Color Washed". Lots of different colour combos. I particularly like the yellow/orange and blue/green palettes. I might have to send you some of the pink/purple ones: not sure if I will use them. And the papers in the second set are out of the Jillibean Soup 2CoolForSchool line. Fairly new. Or at least new to me. I picked it up at a crop in June. I got the collection and then some extras of the ones that particularly appealed to me, like the chevron pattern. |

Love the inspiration this month, ladies! @mamkven-I particularly like how you grouped your soccer pictures @chinaaagirl828- nicely done on your Disney photos. it's tough when you don't have the quality of pictures that you'd prefer, but you did great. I particularly like the envelope of stars. Your map LO is a different style than I usually see from you- nice stretch! kitbop- I.Love. My 2016 was turning into a massive album that would take a crane to lift onto the coffee table, so I decided to split out our Alaskan cruise pictures into a separate album. grammadee I just googled that paper pad and yep, those colour washed paper are right up my street! I don't think it's available here in the UK but I'm gonna keep looking  Wow patin way to go! Love those clouds on the space needle LO, is that old KI Memories plastic paper stuff with clouds on? I love the extra clouds you added. Love the second page, the background paper is perfect and I love that you've got all the info on there! That Seattle title on the DLO is amazing and I love the photos, great views! Also great photos on the PL pages too, fab work! stinkerbelle WTF! Just when I think I'm catching up to you in points, you go and do all these! Damn you!!! Love Army Mom, is that old Scenic Route in strips? Love the stars & Stripes! Love that BG paper with the stars on Army Proud and what a great photo! Great title on Wings, love that Sassafrass alpha, it always looks fab on a LO! Great pics on Soldier Boy (love that alpha too, is it Scenic Route?) and I love all the papers you picked, they're perfect! I love all the banners on Tie Dye, so cool, they look lush!!! I'm not even going to pretend at this point that I'm capable of catching up on comments for all the layouts posted in this thread so far. I've been checking in when I can and I'm getting a mini workout clicking the like button. I'm kind of in awe of how many pages some of you have been able to complete already this month and I've loved seeing all the pages posted.

and to everyone, i'm sorry for the flood! i have basically been scrapping only on my days off and i tend to let them pile up until i'm worn out scrapping before i post. some i have to wait for photos too because they're covered in nuvos which take forever to dry Want my secret, I take photos before the Nuvos are even dry most of the time! That does sometimes result in a smooshed up dot but at least I got a photo before I did it hahahaha! I wanged some dots up so bad the other night I had to cut them off, patch in some more cardstock and do the line again! I was working on the LO and totally forgot they were wet. I did loads of work putting embellishments on and then at the last minute, rested my hand across almost the whole line! |
