I thought multi photo is for 4 or more pictures on a page. But patin said "put 4 or more photos on a layout" on the challenge. If I'm wrong I can claim a few more points on my 2 page spreads where I only have 3 photos on each side.
I can't keep up with all the challenge rules. It's getting to be way too much for me. I'll remove the points for the Multi Photo challenges. I'm not trying to claim what hasn't been earned.

I started this with the "Red White and..." challenge in mind (ended up with what we are *ahem* going to call aqua so that I still squeeze into that challenge! because that was the only colour that seemed to go once I got into it). Arrows, Amy Tan, ephemera, stash challenges as well. So 7 points I think. layout peculiar poise by kirstendrew, on Flickr

gramma - I don't think myboysnme was saying you didn't earn your points - she (and I) just weren't quite sure what the challenge poster had intended. I know when there was a confusion over the ketchup points - those who had already claimed points kept them, and we just all followed the clarification from then on out (didn't go back and change stuff).
It's supposed to be fun so don't stress about the rules and the points - the main goal is to get us all scrapping and using our stash and having fun and I think it's succeeding at that

Some people use a spread sheet and I use linda 's method of keeping 2 windows open. This past weekend I had a few 2 page layouts that had 4 or more photos for the 2 page spread but I didn't count it. Then when I saw you had taken points for the challenge I realized it said 'layout' not page. I asked for clarification on that and the ketchup challenge. You only inspired me to ask the question about the challenge, not to question your points. I care about my points as a personal challenge to myself.

patin - can you clarify what you intended with this challenge? Was it to get 4 or more photos on a single page?
I assumed on a page also - almost all of my 2-page spreads have at least 4 photos between the 2 pages but I didn't count those I have been counting each PAGE as a LO, so for a two page spread I count 4 points: 1 point for creating each page and 1 point for sharing each, so 4 points before I start counting up the challenge points. For challenge points, I count 1 point for each PAGE it applies to. So if I have Nuvo’s drops on each page of the pair, that would be 2 points for that challenge for that LO. Using this system, gramma’s two pagers would add up to a lot of points. If I have 4 pics on one page, I count 1 point for multi photo. If neither page has 4 or more, (even if both together have more than 4 total) I don’t count that challenge. If you use the definition of LO like I do, (and how stinkerbelle explains it in the July rules) you’ll gain more points than you lose by doing this. But like Linda says, don’t fret about it. Just enjoy creating a nd sharing!

UGH! Do you ever have a LO that you just don't like? This one is just not coming together for me. It is a digital LO that I attempted to scraplift. After a couple of hours, I thought I would just give up & purchase the actual kit the inspiration LO was in, however it has been discontinued. After 2 more hours of fiddling with it. I AM OVER IT. So here it is. Still don't love or even like it- but I AM DONE. This counts for 7 points- Multiphoto, Chevron. Vacation, Selfie, Ketchup (designer prints.), creating & posting. patin - I like your layoput - colourful and summery - but I totally understand, some layouts just don't end up being our favourites - sometimes all you can do is call it done and move on.

@ Linda - Sorry for the confusion. I meant more than 4 photos per page. (So on a double layout, it would be 8+ photos) .

It's just confusing to have so many challenge points claimed in so many combinations.

woodysbetty , I love your lift! Great range of photos from the landscape to the people, to the wooden shoes! Love your journaling, and that gold script title is really cool, especially on a tilt and on a photo. Love your flamingo page, thracian . Those papers are perfect and I am a big fan of torn edges. Are those cupcake liners? Isn't there a challenge to use cupcake liners? kitbop , your page is SOOOO dynamic! I love the diagonal design and how you stacked your title, journaling and other elements. Love all the stars, too. patin , I am glad you pushed through and finished this page! I think it turned out beautifully. But I have said before, they can't all be favorites, and sometimes just being DONE is what's important! Oh, and gramma, that is a sharp new avatar!

One more for me today. I tried really hard to imagine being Missy Whidden - she makes it look so easy! - but then I hold back because I don't like the way things are looking and the end product isn't what I wanted. So the watercolour on the background is barely visible under my picture!!! And I am more in awe of Missy Went off the challenge "watercolour", added Simple Stories as manufacturer, an arrow (of course) and single outdoors 5x7 picture. All the flowers are fussycut from one of the pps. So 7 points I think! layout me and my big shadows by kirstendrew, on Flickr

here's my "thank goodness it's done" page ugh! i literally tore this thing apart and seriously considered pitching the whole thing more than once. to the stars and back by sadkid, on Flickr If a page isn't working for me I've been known to do that. The last page I posted used a background paper salvaged from an older layout that didn't make the final cut. I already had the mist and one random yellow enamel dot on the paper from the first layout. That's why green is a prominent colour on this layout I can still see where the adhesive used to be but since it sort of blends in I figure it just adds to the distressed look.

Wonderful LO kitbop I love the pops of aqua and the ripped edges! I love that LO patin! So colourful, I love all the stripes and flowers and the sun, it's lush! DawnMcD - Rockport is a real "wow" page to me - I will absolutely be using that curvy edge that you used along the papers, it adds SO much movement and vibrancy to the 2 pages to carry your eye. Love the colours. stinkerbelle - uh, I'm jealous of the productivity and feel a little ashamed?? The Stinky B LO is my fave because it's so colourful and fun; the Mermaid kisses is gorgeous with the contrast of the tail/dots; the wildflower is stunning, love the angle and I think I'll use that as my jumping off point for my next LO! I always forget I can create on an angle! You are sweet is really pleasing, like the cover of a magazine, because you so effectively used space and colour. Wonderful!

kitbop i'm sure your gorgeous pages take a lot longer to create than the stuff i throw together besides, i have no one to take care of on my 2 days off and i try not to plan much, so i have the whole time for MEMEMEMEMEME! no getting dinners, breaking up disputes between kids, ferrying anyone anywhere. just me and 2 uninterrupted (mostly) days of playing with paper. plus i'm a weirdo who goes to bed really early and am then up in the wee hours of the morning when everyone is sleeping. i get tons done then!
