trump....
“Pfizer & others should be ashamed that they have raised drug prices for no reason. They are merely taking advantage of the poor & others unable to defend themselves, while at the same time giving bargain basement prices to other countries in Europe & elsewhere. We will respond!”
Now I know why he brought this up.,
Andrew Janz...
“To put this in context, Pfizer just raised the price of Viagra last week per @politico.”
This explains a lot. 😁

Roll Call..
“After Moscow Trip, Ron Johnson Says Election Meddling Overblown”
Of course you would say that because you won.
From the article. And it just shows one how screwed up and power hungry the Republican Party has become.
“One of the Republican senators back from a trip to Moscow is suggesting that Congress went too far in punishing Russia for meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
“I’ve been pretty upfront that the election interference — as serious as that was, and unacceptable — is not the greatest threat to our democracy,” Sen. Ron Johnson said in an interview with the Washington Examiner published over the weekend. “We’ve blown it way out of proportion.”
“We need to really honestly assess what actually happened, what effect did it have, and what effect are our sanctions actually having, positively and negatively,” the Republican from Wisconsin said.”

I can't keep up...wtf is he even saying? Huh. I just posted last night that the president is increasingly using “Democrat” instead of “Democratic.” Now he claiming its “sounds better rhetorically?” What does that even mean? He’s either admitting that he has joined others who intentionally do it to insult the Democratic Party (i.e. rhetoric, to mean influencing, posturing) or he plain doesn’t understand what the word “rhetoric” means and literally thinks he gets to change the name of things when, as a self-vaunted successful author and speaker, he decides it sounds better. Hard to pick. In either case, I suppose, as a successful RefuPea poster/writer, I can decide to call him “Donald Duck” because it <sing it with me> sounds better rhetorically. Ah, that Penn education.

David Joachim... “Breaking -->> (Bloomberg) -- The man who served as Donald Trump’s personal driver for more than 25 years sued him for back pay on Monday, saying he was forced to work thousands of hours of overtime that wasn’t paid. “ Stories like this about trump and how he treated the “little guy” abound before the election. But yet a chunk of his voters ignored these stories and voted for him believing he would take care of the “little guy.” But David Axelrod May have hit it on the head on why indirectly with this tweet. “Whatever else you say about @realdonaldtrump—and I’ve said plenty—he gets the whole reality TV thing how to build drama for the big @scotus primetime reveal. He may not dwell much on the implications for the country but you know he’s just lovin’ the show!”trump is a “reality TV star” and with the abundance of reality shows on tv, it would appear a chunk of Americans like or love reality TV. Which makes me think a chunk of trump’s voters ignored the reality of trump to vote for one of the brash’s reality TV stars on TV at the time of the election. every.time. I see him, no matter where, no matter what the circumstances or subject at hand, I always see a look on his face that is just smug in fact that he seems to be the center of attention and "look at me! I'm on TV!" Like there is nothing more important and the rest is just going through the motions to get to the next big "scene." The "job" is incidental- secondary, at best.

“We need to really honestly assess what actually happened, what effect did it have, and what effect are our sanctions actually having, positively and negatively,” the Republican from Wisconsin said.” But trump never imposed the sanctions, even though Congress overwhelmingly voted for it. So exactly how are they to determine "what effect sanctions are having, positively and negatively". Do any of these politicians have any brain cells left?

So....my mom is in the hospital, UTI, major confusion from hitting her head falling down in shower from the UTI affects.
Nurse comes in to give her the meds she takes and get vitals, and she starts quizzing my mom.
Birthdate?
Mom answers.
Day if the week?
Mom answers after a moment or two.
Who is the president?
My mom gives nurse the stink eye. Doesn’t answer.
Nurse again...who is the president?
Mom-I’m NOT saying his name.
Nurse asks again—do you know who the president is?
Mom answers—“it’s a person many people don’t like!”
Nurse gives up! Lol
My siblings and I were laughing so hard!!

“The only explanation I can think of for this absurd and obvious lie is that it's something Trump said when they spoke, and Kavanaugh knows the test of loyalty to Trump is to publicly repeat his lies with a straight face.
So, off to a good start!”
This was in response to this from Axios..
“Brett Kavanaugh: "No president has ever consulted more widely or talked to more people from more backgrounds to seek input for a Supreme Court nomination."
trump doesn’t have the attention span to “consulted more or talked to more people” on any one subject.

“While working for Ken Starr in 1998, Kavanagh routinely skirted or violated Rule 6 (e) of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure by leaking details of Lewinsky probe.Mueller’s team obeys the law; Starr’s didn’t. Reporters didn’t bust Brett because they benefitted. Will one now?”
A leaker huh. I thought trump didn’t like leakers. I guess like everything with the Republicans they only care if the other side does it, but if it’s one of their own they just shrug and say “we won!”.

This from Geoff Bennett...
“Source familiar tells NBC that Justice Kennedy had been in negotiations with the Trump team for months over Kennedy’s replacement. Once Kennedy received assurances that it would be Kavanaugh (his former law clerk) Kennedy felt comfortable retiring - “
Prompted these responses..
Democrats..
“The White House sent reporters 34 testimonials in support of Trump's nominee for the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh.
The testimonial list includes 34 names: 34 men 0 women”
Norm Eisen..
“If this is true, Kennedy had a major conflict of interest as to Trump while sitting in judgment on Trump’s actions including the Muslim ban. A judge cannot secretly negotiate a benefit he badly wants with a litigant who has other business before his court. Hearings must address.”
Sudan Hennessey...
“Also keep in mind that if this is accurate, Trump knew the nominee decision weeks ago and the entire spectacle of the last two weeks has been a complete sham and we all fell for it.”
Csn’t This guy do anything without some sort of scandal attached to it?

trump..
“Getting ready to leave for Europe. First meeting - NATO. The U.S. is spending many times more than any other country in order to protect them. Not fair to the U.S. taxpayer. On top of that we lose $151 Billion on Trade with the European Union. Charge us big Tariffs (& Barriers)!”
Paul Waldman.,.
“The only way it's "Not fair to the U.S. taxpayer" is if Trump thinks that if European countries spent more on their militaries, we'd spend less on ours. Given that he wants US military spending to be as large as possible, that seems unlikely.”
Good point.

They just can’t tell the truth.,.
Peter Alexander.,
“Previewing WH argument for Kavanaugh, Raj Shah insists last two SCOTUS nominees went from nomination to confirmation in average of 66 days: "We think that's a good benchmark."
FACT CHECK: That ignores Merrick Garland, who R's blocked entirely. So actual average is much greater.”

The Republican Party is nothing more than dishonesty, back room desks, lying pieces of shit, shady behind the scene deals all funded and paid for by those of great wealth who want their special interests to greatly benefit.
Corrupt. Corrupt. Corrupt. This is why the rest of the GOP won’t say or do anything.
No other party will be able to survive because now that trumps in office and changing the rules and norms and ignoring jaws and ethics, because it’s all about the wealthy, power, and lining their pockets.
