We got back from a friends house this weekend, and they had a Jura Impressa coffee/espresso maker. Just press a button. I've priced that machine, and it's way out of my budget, but I've found a great deal on a delonghi Perfecta machine, and it's a great deal with $500 off, plus a $100 gift card. I get cash back 1% from my visa, and 2.5% on ebates and free shipping. Only problem I'm still spending about $1200!!! i know we would use it EVERY SINGLE DAY....but DH might kill me

You don’t need a super automatic express espresso/cappuccino! 😉

Give the Nespresso a whirl instead.

Holy moly, that's a lot for a coffee maker. Pretty sure you don't need that!

Girl, life is short. Get the espresso machine if you’ll use it every day.

Girl, life is short. Get the espresso machine if you’ll use it every day. THIS^^^^^ ITA This! It will pay for itself in a year at $3.28 per day. I’m not sure what a starbucks coffee based drink is now as I’m a tea drinker, but I’m guessing more than that.

We had Nespresso machines everywhere in Spain and honestly they rock my world. Seriously. I had double cappuccinos every morning and they were just awesome.

Also we don't have the same fancy machines they had there. They were so awesome!

I have a DeLonghi coffee machine, I use it every day for my two cappuccinos in the morning, and sometimes one in the afternoon if I'm slumping! We went through 2 of the machines that have the removable milk container that froth for you (ECAM350). They both eventually stopped frothing. So this time we went for the cheaper machine with the spout that you froth yourself (ECAM23). So far so good, it's been a year with no problems. So I would say yes you need the machine but in my experience with DeLonghi, get the insurance too.

If $1200 for a coffee machine doesn't make you blink an eye, then go for it.
If it makes the budget tight, save for it over time, or do without.

I cannot tell you that- love my Jura. Have had it for about 8 years. It is used every single day. I spend less at Starbucks than I used to, so I consider it to have paid for itself

Of course you need the machine! I have the nespresso, but if I drank it every day, the Jura would be on my list. (sorry, no help!)

Get the nespresso machine. I have one and I love it. Some targets carry them but you can also get them at William Sonoma. I have the basic machine, we didn’t need the frother option. I order my pods off the Nespresso website. You can also get bags from the website that have shipping labels to send the pods back for recycling. They are completely aluminum so they can be recycled.
