I love mine - doesn't stop me from also buying enamel dots in mid-shades because I'm really matchy-matchy with my colours, but I have at least 10 bottles. Most recently, I bought 2 bottles of the glitter nuvos. One of the bottles didn't work - the drops were SUPER thick, didn't settle into a round shape, were really hard to squeeze out of the bottle. I contacted tonic and they sent me a replacement bottle immediately

that was the only downside to using Nuvo drops... My hands get crampy and clawlike very easily. Thanks for the reminder that I should get back to using the drops I made the last time this thread was active. (Also kiwigirl which part of Auckland are you from originally? If you don't mind me asking. I was a North Shore Girl.)

Thanks for the swatch chart. Very handy. The Nuvo does better for me. I use the gloss ones the most. I just tossed the last of those pico embellisher things. They were a pain, always clogging and they never totally hardened up despite no humidity here. I'm also with doing dots first on waxed paper. I don't trust myself to get it right going direct yet.

I don't have any Nuvo drops. I feel like I should get a bottle to try them. The online store where I purchase supplies has them...hmmm... That was me a few months ago. I didn’t ‘need’ them but bought a couple of bottles to try them out. Now I’m hooked. I’d suggest getting a couple of colors and seeing what you think. I have most of the gloss colors so I’m thinking of branching out into the glitter ones.

Live at Hauraki and went to Takapuna Grammar, finished 1988. SO funny. I was always so envious of your pretty school building and location and blue uniforms, not to mention, boys. I mostly hated WGHS and bottle green & red! There's another Westlake "old girl" here on the boards too (not sure if I should name her or not, but we've had this discussion too.)

Hey shore girls! I'm a westie, born & bred in Kelston, I went to all the Kelston schools and then, realising how terrible Kelston Girls was, I moved to Avondale College. Then I went to ATI (showing my age there eh). Now still in the west in England, we just can't help ourselves us westies! I do plan to return home, I've been here over 20 years now and hate it. We're waiting out our cat cause I won't move him, he's 15. The plan is to move to an apartment in the city for a while and then maybe build a house somewhere. That is if we can afford Auckland. Might end up in Hamilton eh!

ooh thanks for the swatch paper! too funny, i got some new drops and was trying them all out yesterday and thinking i should probably make myself a sheet of all my colors and then this was posted! i also encourage anyone who loves the nuvos to check out the fabrika decor drops as well. i just ordered a bunch new colors. they basically look the same as the nuvos when dry, but the application is different (the drops seem to just plop from the bottle, no fussing) and they seem way less tempermental than the nuvos. i have mine just standing up, one actually lays on top of the rest of my drops, and they still work great. haven't had any clogging issues either. the link above is to the @thekatsmeow store, which seems to be the only place carrying them (at least in the US). if anyone gets some, let me know how you like them! and you're welcome

Thanks to this discussion, I finally broke down a week ago and bought Nuvo drops in a handful of colors. I plan to actually play with them later today. You gals are the biggest enablers!
