I live in Sacramento, a large town. Thanks to Kiwigirl I've been on the hunt. I started out with "I don't need another new thing". Went quickly to "Well I could try a bottle or two" but I don't really need them. So I started looking. I swear there is not one bottle of the bloody things anywhere to be found!! Not Michaels, not Joanns, not Hobby Lobby. None - nada. Now of course I am convinced that I simply must have them!
Ordered a set from Amazon a few minutes ago -

I only have 4 bottles so far, but dang I'm hooked. I think I might actually be abusing them, if that's possible, dotting them where they really don't need to be. They're really addictive - I need more!

I’ve never seen them at any of the chains. My LSS sells them.

I bought a set of 5 bottles from Amazon. And I’m waiting for a second set of 5 bottle from Amazon 😊 The first ones are pink, orange, purple, pale grey and walnut. The new ones are white, red, blue and green. I can’t wait to play with more colors this weekend!
ETA And yellow. Because I can’t count!!

I've never seen them for sale IRL. I guess I should take a look the next time I go into the small LSS - they have the oddest selection of stuff, so who knows?
I love my clear crystal dew drops I got online, and the white and black I got RAKed by a lovely Pea. I make all my dots in advance though. I'm always so uncertain of where to put the darn things. I admire the people who just dot dot dot right onto the page. Maybe one day I'll get to that skill level...

Apparently I only like pink and yellow. Those are the only colors I buy. I have a couple sets now but guarantee I'll forget what I have when I buy more.

I got three bottles from a scrapbook challenge contest. I just used the first one recently. So far I am resisting buying more, but we'll see how it goes . . . LOL.

I only like the gloss ones so my wallet is kind of safe. But of course I want all of the colors which is why I said kind of.

Go gramma! That set is awesome! I must admit, my favourite and most used ones are the gloss ones. The glitter ones are lush and they do work quite well but I just don't use them as much as the gloss ones. needtime2scrap they're just a great product! I think they are a bit Marmite though, you either love em or hate em. If you have time, check out my two blog posts on them here and here oh, and I use them for 2 more cool techniques here. I am a big fan and use them a lot I just find them so versatile, I always loved enamel dots but I found they were never the right size, I wanted small ones and there would be 2 in the pack and the rest were giant or the other way around. And there was just never enough in a pack for me, I would want to do a line of them above my picture and I would need 2 packs and they were £5 a pack! Nuvos are much cheaper and you can make your dots whatever size you want, small, super tiny, giant and I usually do a whole border around my LO, imagine how many packs of enamel dots that would take! In all honesty artisticscrapper, I do have all of the colours and the ones I use most are definitely the gloss. I have quite a few in my collection that I've never used except to practice something with, more than a few!

I got one bottle in a kit and I couldn’t get the hang of it. So I never bought anymore. I figured Nuvo dots and me just weren’t meant to be.

I still don't use the 2 bottles I still have but I at least put one of them in my crop bag! Yes, thank you, again I learned more about them from kiwigirl a little while back and decided to sit down with them and try them out properly. Made a bunch of little dots on waxed paper, and that worked for me. As I dotted them over and over I got the hang of how to make them (mostly) nice, and the more I did, the less I worried about getting them perfect. I've been adding them to my cards with a little bit of glue. I haven't used a lot, but I've been happy to have them. I like teeny tiny dots so commercially made enamel dots were frustrating me - too big! especially on cards. It might not be true love but they are meeting a need, for sure.

Bumping this thread because I was just finishing up a layout and I decided I need to add some Nuvo drops in a color I don't currently have.
So, I placed an order this morning, for freaking 10 more bottles. Once I started I just couldn't stop. JoAnn has them for $2.09 today and $2.99 shipping on the total order.

That's what I like to hear msliz! I am about ready for some new colours so I hope they do some new ones soon. I always find I haven't got the right shade of blue or green and I would like more shades of those colours for sure.

I was just doing my DT order for October and had to get 6 bottles of Nuvos cause I'm running low on 4 bottles and don't have backups already (I always have backups of Caribbean Ocean, Carnation Pink and Dandelion Yellow as they're my most used and favourites). And I'm fed up trying to use both my Navy and Crushed Grape bottles, they're both so awful, I never use them cause they just don't work properly (even after doctoring them like my first blog post advises). So I'm hoping new bottles will work properly. I really wanted to use Crushed Grape recently but I couldn't face doing a full border with that bottle that I have to squeeze so frikken hard, I'd end up with a crampy little claw hand!

ETA: so how come i never have the color i need?! Right!!!! I just needed a coral and a mint for my latest page and they don't exist. I had to use Jewel Drops instead and I know they're going to be wrong and annoy me. Hello people from Tonic Studios, please make more colours of Nuvos!

Awww, kiwigirl, I'm sorry to hear about your Nuvo problems. I've only had one bottle stick on me, and I think it's because it was used as a demo in the store and then sold as new. I didn't notice that there was dried product sticking up the nozzle until I got it home.

I don't have any Nuvo drops. I feel like I should get a bottle to try them. The online store where I purchase supplies has them...hmmm...

Another one here blaming kiwigirl for this obsession. I think I've used them on every layout I've done this month!! I only have 9 bottles. I've used mostly Ripened Pumpkin and Ebony Black so far (been scrapping Halloween photos). I also have Midnight Blue, Simply White, English Mustard, Midnight Sky, White Blizzard, Woodland Green and Red Berry. Do I need more?
