I don't think that she's going to stop making the physical products completely. If anything she is cutting back the variety of kits and offering products only on her website. She might cut back international shipping.

I definitely think it would be beneficial to her to stop producing so many different kits/mini kits/etc. that are from unknown designers with uninspiring designs. If she went back to one or two kits per year with a well known designer and actually promoted the kit, it would likely sell.

But regardless what she does with kits, I think she sells 12x12 albums and page protectors just fine--I think lots of people are like me and get the page protectors & albums from her, but the cards from other brands. So I doubt those are going to go away--she might discontinue some of the smaller albums. But, even if she does discontinue everything, I feel like we can get them elsewhere... her albums are basically identical to the WRMK ones. I think simple stories & WRMK have made the page protectors in the past. Here is a similar layout available from scrapbook.com. If BH discontinues her page protectors these other companies will jump at the chance and make them more widely available.

It's sad that she's spiraling the drain, but project life as a concept will definitely live on. I'm not worried.

I do not think American Crafts will continue to manufacture her stuff if they are moving backwards in terms of volume and sales. If she can go back to her earlier business model and be able to find a manufacturer, producing a few kits a year (without so many repeated cards, she might be able to thrive in the physical product area. But I wonder if she has the will for that kind of slog, or if she's moved on to other things. The manufacturing side is the key. Maybe she could partner with Inked, but, that's a different beast.

Poor Wendy. She sounds like she actually wants to do work vs. have a sorority party.

I agree something is going on with Becky. The party..I couldn't finish watching it. What happened to professionalism?

Information about the move from the office that we may not have considered before.  She DEFINITELY knows the buzz about her business struggling.  Alternate facts here, people.

Good gosh. That video was horrible for her brand. Not only does she look like a 12 year old having a slumber party, she is publicly criticizing her friend and how she has her frames hung. Seriously. Who cares?! And then discussing that her brand probably only has two emails from consumers that are waiting to be answered? Why not just put a billboard saying your brand is dead and no one cares? 

Becky needs to get over herself. That video was ridiculous. I don’t want to watch video ‘meetings’ with her fan girl staff. I don’t want to see pictures of her new house or hear about her adventures in sandwich burnings. What I do want to see is pictures of designs made with her PL products but that never seems to happen. Seriously, when was the last time she actually did a layout with physical product? This is why I don’t follow many scrap celebs. If there are more ‘look at me’ posts than there are creative ones I’m done. Unfollow.

While I get that it no longer works for her if she is going to keep the physical aspect of her brand she MUST partner with some one (ie a design team or even just one person) that can regularly showcase the physical product in a professional manner on a REGULAR basis.

She did do creative live "classes" with her product. But that is way far in the past now.

Actually by the time Project Life hit HSN, it was the beginning of the end.  PL wasn't new, it was at the time Becky sold out to AC and they started mass producing several kits at a time.  Before then, she had one release a year and the quality was much higher.  Things started to unravel after the sell out to AC with many loyal customers being turned off by the quality and production issues.

If I remember, Becky had a meltdown about that too - something went wrong on HSN and people were PISSED.  She was crying way back then.  I don't know why Lisa distanced herself from PL and stopped doing the HSN presentations...but that fizzled quickly.  I think after 2 appearances.

I know I've linked the video of the slap heard around the world on this board but I can't find it. It wasn't a full on angry slap. It was just weird and made things awkward. I guess I didn't realize she was selling PL on that show.
