I truly don't think she understands how her religion spills over into her business decisions. Plenty of Mormons are able to separate the two; not her. Or maybe she does, she is pandering to the religious crowd with some of her products being sold at Deseret Book. Whatever.

She sent an email saying you could get through the content in well under an hour. Why would I pay $20 for her repackaged blah-ing about documenting?And by the time you fast forward through all her religion bullshit, you only are probably getting 20 min of teaching. |

I think Mrs. Becky Higgins has had a come to Jesus (literally) meeting with someone and figured out that IF!! people pay you for a class they want it about documenting, not life coaching with your bestie Becky Proudfit. I'm not saying this class is worth it, but at least it's on topic. I actually hope this class sells for her so she maybe will be able to reflect and say, "Oh...people want documenting from me and not makeup or marriage advice."
I cannot believe her "girls" do not try to censor her delivery. I actually find it offensive that she was talking about how she can't believe she's reduced herself to selling $20 classes. Her message was rude.
If she actually understood business, she would have talked about how she really wanted it accessible to all and made a class she felt everyone would have the time and budget for.
And lastly, she's promising a Project 52 for this year. Does she know that most people pick that out in December for the next year? As usual, she's late to the party, but full of excuses. She's like, "It's coming, just use a place holder card." Ok Becky, we know that you spend less than 5 minutes a week on your "documenting" (she tells us all the time) but some people actually still enjoy this hobby and put a little thought into it.

It's interesting to me that Becky's new classroom focuses so much on short, bite-sized class content when I've literally rewatched her CreativeLive course probably four times, start to finish, and that thing was MASSIVE.
I also don't really view $20 for 45 minutes - with much of that being audio-only - as affordable. Not sure if that's just my budget-obsessed side coming out, but that's shorter than some podcasts I listen to!

I don't even know what the course is, but she'd have to be sharing never-before-shared info to make me pay that much for that little. Many of us aren't paid $20+ an hour. Even if she values her labor that highly she's selling it to a LOT of people, so even if it took her 45 hours to create she's still going to get compensated very well. Most movies are $6-12 to rent and last twice that long. No. |

Ok this is old news but I just have to bitch.... I’m using the PL app and it’s SO obnoxious that you can’t create or see a 2 page spread side by side. How is this not available? Very short sighted! I have seen so people use blank filler pages so that they can see 2 pg LOs next to each other in the folders view (there are 3 pages in each row). |

I unfollowed her everywhere and she still popped up on my Facebook with an ad for this latest thing. I can't believe people consider her an Influencer, her makeup and style are like a "before" not an "after".

I find her so frustrating and out of touch (although perhaps she means well, in her clueless way?), but I have been using the App to catch up with PL for 2019 and nothing beats it for quickly getting through photos. I need to find another option for printing 10x10 and then perhaps I won’t be so bothered once I’m no longer supporting her company financially.

Just found this thread. Lurked to read through some of the posts. I’ve wondered if I were the only one irritated by BH. Back in the day I thought she had good inspiration, which is what I look for on many IG accounts focused on paper crafts, memory keeping, sewing, cooking, etc. a couple months before her anxiety breakdown I DM’d her, rather than posting on her public blog.
I prefaced my comment by saying I know she does not like “unkind” comments and I in no way meant to be unkind. Rather I was giving constructive feedback.
I asked if she was having a mid-life crisis. She seems manic, stressed, flailing, unfocused. I suggested that perhaps a focus on what her business IS would help. Speaking for myself I told her I did not need her to be a therapist, a counselor, a mentor, a mother, a friend. Not interested in buying dresses, wrapping paper, jewelry, purses, random crafts, etc. Can’t even remember everything. She now seems focused on notebooks—does anyone have a problem finding a notebook anywhere?
Anyway, I suggested she take a break and really consider her life and the purpose of her business. I said I was just looking for inspiration, which I guess doesn’t generate $$$ ?
I did get a response from her but I felt as if she didn’t get the point. It was not long after that when she had her anxiety crisis. I though—how privileged are you! I check her account every now and then but it seems worse than ever. I find pushing religion (ANY religion) off-putting. I don’t care how many hikes she takes or what makeup she likes. I feel like she’s trying to make the mortgage payment for the new house.
And I agree with those who think she’s tone deaf about covid protocols. It seems irresponsible to fly off to Hawaii or go on trips.
She seems to have a narrow appeal. Maybe that’s enough to sustain her but count me out.

Again I know this has probably been discussed but I really wish someone else would take over the app. I’ve been using it daily for a LOAD challenge and while it’s a super slick and an incredibly useful tool it could be SO MUCH better.
Do they ever get things off the “wish list”?

So she’s been traveling all over and recoding podcasts with people she doesn’t live with but I swear in a story today one of her pictures says her daughter was positive for Covid and then a day or two later they were back up at their “cabin”. I couldn’t catch it at the right minute and I don’t know how to post screenshots anyway, but she and her DOCTOR husband just live in a God will make it fine bubble.
