Oh wow! It's NOT about brand exposure, money, or boredom! Those MANY trips they've taken during this pandemic, the custom-built mansions, etc. must be FREE! There haven't been many times in my life that I wished I was an IRS investigative agent, but this is definitely one of them. Wonder how much beach vacay gets written off as "research"? She always tries to record an episode "on vacay". When she went to Venice with her crew and husband, she took photos for her uninspired photography class. There's definitely some writing off happening and I wonder how much too... |

She's now roping in sheeple with a HS senior to guide them through compiling albums for graduation. She's hosting a live/virtual event that is SOLD OUT YOU GUYS. I guarantee all she's going to do is hawk the app as a way to compile LOs to print in a photo book or print and put into her physical albums. This is NOTHING new or innovative or any different than the 5 million IG stories showing how to make pages through the app.
She also said she is developing a series of mini courses to document your child's school/life. How is this going to be any different than the loads of free content she's put out over the years on her blog and YT painstakingly demonstrating how she did her own kids' albums? As someone who found that content very helpful, I'm sad for the people who are going to pay good money to have her repackage all of this old/free information as new and innovative.

She’ll keep throwing things out there to see what sticks money-wise. If this wasn’t bringing in $$ it’d be dropped—like PL, dresses, jewelry, random decor items.
She seems like an Oprah wannabe, Joanna Gaines wannabe. Seems to need a LOT of attention. I, for one, am not seeking a CONNECTION with her or any other IG person I follow. It seems so arrogant to suggest that she thinks she can provide “all the things” for her followers. I should unfollow but it is sort of like waiting for the train wreck.
The whole travel thing REALLY gets to me. We haven’t seen our adult children other than on Zoom family meetings. And one lives within walking distance. We’ve had not one family member or friend in our home for over a year now. We do this to keep ourselves and others safe until the virus is under control. It seems hypocritical to talk about her faith and ignoring CDC guidelines that are intended to keep all of us from dying of covid. Perhaps she’s explained the protocols she follows. If so, I’ve missed it.
I should just unfollow.

IIRC, she started deleting comments that questioned all of her travel and all of the photos she posted of large groups of people crushed together with no masks on all from her various and sundry trips. Someone said her daughter had Covid at one point, and she was blasted on a post whining about just "being over Covid and wearing masks" just a few months into the pandemic last year. |

I need some of the odd size page protectors she re-issued recently for certificates, class photos, etc. but I haven’t been able to pull the trigger and finance these harmful BH flights of fancy.
I’ll have to break down and pay for the eBay overpriced auctions that have been up since before she reissued.

Many moons ago I bought project life physical products (Amazon, local craft shops) It used to annoy me that they didn't ship overseas because " we tried it and it's not where our strength is" They wanted everyone in the world to use the product but they were not willing to ship it to you? She actually said it is up to us to campaign to our local shops to carry her products.
I realised then that her ego is bigger than the universe.
I feel that she is lying about why she is not making the physical products anymore. She wanted to only do the podcast and had no loyalty to her friends that worked for her or her loyal customers that supported her business for years. I am more put off by her dishonesty than anything else.
I am late to this thread, and just had to get this off my chest. I am glad I am not the only one feeling this way.

The picture of her sniffing the candle while flipping through PL cards is such an awkwardly staged photo. I'm also genuinely surprised to see physical PL cards! And with square corners??? The scent choice though.... yikes.

The my heritage kit has been around for several years - IIRC, she released it 6 months to a year before she fully jumped the shark. I wonder if they are pushing the kit again to try to get rid of a warehouse full of lingering product.
Also, yikes to that candle scent.
