Since there is some interest in Mormonism in this thread (also, hello lurkers  ), I want to give a shout-out to the excellent book on the matter by David Fitzgerald, The Complete Heretic's Guide to Western Religion: The Mormons. While the author is an atheist, this particular volume is solely dedicated to the history of Mormonism, the LDS beliefs, the Church's secrets and the many questions people have about this religion. ETA: David Fitzgerald and Bryce Blankenagel (another well-known Mormon history specialist) are currently in a podcast series about the history of Mormonism with MythVision. Just use the search function on MythVision's YT page to find the 17 other episodes already available. Here's episode 1: |

Everything I know about Joseph Smith I learned from South Park. Dum dum dum dum dum... For me it is 2 Peas Bucket or Refugees! I had a friend convert in college so I knew a little many decades ago. I even took a study class with him, although I had no intention of converting. At that time (late 1970s) the Missionaries stressed the book of mormon was unaltered, a literal copy of what Joseph Smith learned - as opposed to the Bible, with so many translations and interpretations. HAHAHAHA |

I believe this refers to the Christian concept of the ministry of angels in which angels are considered active agents in aiding and assisting humans through their earthly trials. There are stories about such angels helping humans in the Bible. |

I don’t think enough people followed her over there (which should tell her no one cares about her personal life) to get the swipe ups she needs to maintain her lifestyle. If she thinks this belongs on her business page, it says a lot about her professional skills. She’s tanked her PL for her podcast but apparently that doesn’t pay the bills so she needs to pimp out crappy makeup. |

This is TECHNICALLY a business post because they are sharing their podcast sponsor’s products. I say they because Becky 2 did the same thing and her makeup was WAY worse. It was hideous. |

In the movie the angels were around us all the time. I remember one scene where a woman was really stressed out and NC put his hand on her shoulder and she instantly relaxed. And it has been a long time but I think Heart and Souls with the beautiful Robert Downey Jr was kind of about that too? |
