^^^ sure feels like TMI to me :/
ETA for clarity (I'm talking about the last post on the previous page). And yes, I'm aware that it is public information.

They sold their previous home for nearly 3 million and now they've bought for possibly 2.3 million. That leaves enough money for the foreclosure issue + lawsuit, right? (but not much extra wiggle room) I wonder if the suit is going ahead or if they settled. Anybody got news on that (sorry, American public records are so not my forte)? I really thought they'd stay under the 2 million mark for their new house, especially with the kids going off to college but oh well, spending like there's no tomorrow is Becky's fave. ETA: Found the virtual tour for BH's new home. It's big, you guys. So much vinyl flooring (again). The kitchen is giving make-it-Morticia-Addams-but-from-the-suburbs-ya-know vibes. Nice views though! ETA2: Can't help myself. The entrance "art installation" is so wtf, I just have to share it (in spoiler).

The entry way art reminds me of someone I once knew who was known for giving tours of her McMansion. She loved to point to objects in her home and state, " Well you know .... in a House of This Caliber, its expected to blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada"
I can just imagine Becky giving tours of "A House of This Caliber".

It's like exclamation points that have no dot. Kind of like they have given up on doing their job. Or they look like the bottom part of the ladies room sign. Missing heads.

I thought the entrance art was supposed to represent the crucifixion of Jesus, Gestas and Dismas. Often, the cross with Jesus which is always in the middle is depicted larger than the other two... My brain just immediately went there because of the heavy Mormon presence in Utah, go figure!

I can just imagine Becky giving tours of "A House of This Caliber". You're not far off! The listing for her new house literally reads: "Nothing [in this house] is Standard." Yes, that's 'standard' with a capital S.

It’s not my favorite. Maybe they’re planning a renovation with some of the money from their previous house?
On an lol-note, I can see the house my in-laws built in the background of one of the photos. They had always lived along the Wasatch Front, and I think they only made it through like 3 or 4 winters in that valley before they moved back. They get some serious snow there, so I can’t wait to see how Becky adjusts.

Of course they moved to a place called Eden! 🙃
Seriously…this town name will be featured in the tale she eventually tells of this sudden move.

Just took a look at the link 950nancy sent.
How did you find that this house is connected to the H family?!
A couple of observations—
I can’t imagine wanting to live in a house that size. Just cleaning it would be a deal breaker for me.
Why, in a new house that size, is luggage stored in the mechanical room? Wouldn’t you think there’d be a better space to store luggage?
The room sizes, though large, seem to be a better scale than the house miss wannabe designer planned in the previous house.
Anyway, thanks for the link. Interesting to see how others choose to live.

I was checking the climate for Eden and wondering how hard it'd be on someone who'd lived near Peoria for two decades. I guess they'll be able to afford the heating bill for those really tall ceilings so they'll be at least living comfortably inside but her days of going on long walks and treks once November hits are over, right? How long does snowy winter last over there?

How did you find that this house is connected to the H family?! I don't bother with public records from the US because VPN + lacking knowledge on how to search them but once we got the location confirmed in this thread thanks to Gennifer, it was easy. Becky's IG shows a couple of pics with hints (the fireplace, the inside door, the kitchen in the background, the big rocks outside the house). Before location confirmation, it could still be a couple of other homes although the fireplace had already led me to think it was this one. Eden is small and there isn't much property to go through that was sold in the past few months. I just immediately zoned on in this house once I knew for sure where she'd moved. There are literally no other possibilities in terms of property sold. Basic sleuthing skills.

The room sizes, though large, seem to be a better scale than the house miss wannabe designer planned in the previous house. Anyway, thanks for the link. Interesting to see how others choose to live. It was actually pretty simple. Someone ( scraphappy0501?) mentioned that in Weber county, which covers most of the towns we thought were likely, you can search for property owners by name. I went on the county website and put in their last name, which gave me something like 20 results. There were a couple of Trusts that could have been possibles, but their house is actually under their first and last names. It gives the property address. I’ve mentioned this before (but maybe not on this thread) but my house is about the same size, and it isn’t actually that uncommon here in Utah. Frankly, many of us have big families, and a lot live nearby. If I get together with just my parents, siblings, and their kids, we easily have 50+ people. My husband’s side is smaller, but still 40+. And this month, alone, I have two get-togethers with my family and one with DH’s, plus another small one with a few of my nieces and nephews… only around 15 for that one.

How long does snowy winter last over there? As far as actual snow on the ground… maybe 4-6 months? But months where it snows? 9, or maybe even 10. It really exacerbated my FIL’s SAD. Which, don’t get me wrong, it’s the same at my house, but I’m just used to it. (I’ve seen it snow on the 4th of July.) I think it will definitely be an adjustment to someone used to AZ weather. Plus the shorter days because we are farther north, plus time changes which she’s not used to. If they love outdoor winter stuff, like skiing, snowboarding, etc, it will make it a lot easier. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
