All things Becky15 Higgins/beggy Higgins

I saw yesterday on Jody Moore’s Instagram stories she was on Becky’s podcast so I listened today. I should have kept my self-imposed ban on all things BH. Becky P shared something very personal that she needed help with. It was a good discussion. It turned to Becky H and she said something about that not being the plan and that she didn’t want to process through anything on the podcast. After a push from Becky P., they discussed Becky H’s problem.... drumroll....she’s too invested in being perfect. She has such a stick up her ass she can’t show any flaws. She sounds ridiculous and the funniest part was she said she plans how her Instagram looks. Apparently all that crying and crazy was supposed to look like perfection. If I was Becky P. I’d get sick of talking about all my issues while Princess Becky sits across the table looking down her nose at anything but perfection. I find Becky P. to be annoying, but at least she’s honest.

I learned my lesson and am back on avoid.

Just an FYI, Jody Moore is a life-coach/podcaster that I like well enough. Sometimes she’s a bit out there for me, but she frequently has the message of you can only control your response.

The Rome Temple for TCOJCOLdS opened recently, so I have a feeling that is why Becky et all jetted off to Italy in midwinter.

Oh, I agree that the Rome temple is a farce. From the stats I've seen, there are about 4000 temple "worthy" members in Italy, and the temple is more of a destination for wealthy American LDS travelers. Plus, the Q12 and 1st Presidency want to pretend that they are on par with the Vatican.

She prominently featured their visit to this new temple in her stories.

Becky's back to crying over nothing on Instagram stories again. :/ She needs a therapist.

I actually wouldn't be surprised that her perfectionist nature is what is causing her breakdown (and also her denial of having said breakdown). It requires a lot of constant effort to put on a show like that and the more known she became, the bigger that show probably had to be.

I wonder if it's just who she is (some people really do have exceedingly high expectations of themselves) or if this is part of religious brainwashing. So many of the Evangelical women are like this, too. Do all the things for their families while being subordinate to their husbands and do it all without complaint and likely without much appreciation for the effort on top of it. Stepford wives seem to be the staple 'product' of many religions.

Listening between the lines of that podcast I think it is a bigger issue than it first appears. I also think that the down turn in profitability causes her a ton of anxiety and stress which is why she has attempted to branch out in so many random ways. It is like she is flailing though instead of using what she knows to stay afloat.
I do find it peculiar that she is this "perfectionist" but uses IG stories so often. IMO it doesn't lend itself to carefully thought out posts which has resulted in a snail trail of dots at the top and scattered ramblings at best.

Maybe she ought to try having some talks a good friend who could be literally a shoulder to cry on. IG followers are her customers and fans and will never be able to fill her need for attention and sympathy. Many don’t want to hear her emotional ramblings. I liked her back when she was a scrapper. I hate to say it but she’s becoming kind of pathetic.

Maybe she can start pushing tear-proof mascara?

She’s so over scrapbooking. In one of the app scrapping groups on Facebook people have a ton of questions about this “epic” update she had to the app this week. She has posted NOTHING about it. And it is a subscription so it would be a money maker. All she’s posted is about her makeup and crying about something. She teased the update and then doesn’t post a thing about it.
