There is a poll in her stories today trying to justify getting rid of the physical products she no longer wants to sell. Go vote for physical product scrapbooking! I went and voted and can't believe the majority isn't voting physical. I know we say this OVER and OVER but sh!t lady, you keep asking what we want, what we do, but have a set answer you want to hear. At this point do what the eff you want and stop asking what we want because clearly the two don't match up!I just need a warning so I can stock up on albums and page protectors. And why the condescending, "not what you did 20 years ago or even 2 years ago" bitch we understand the question. We still effing scrapbook with physical product!! Just because it's not your lame products doesn't mean it isn't happening. GEEZ! Sorry I clearly need an anti-bitch pill this morning This exactly, just the way she worded the question tells how she wants it to be answered. I also am surprised by the votes seeing as so many people chimed in recently when she asked what people wanted and said they wanted physical. Maybe a majority of them got sick of her and are not following her now or maybe they are sick of her stories and don’t even look at them.

Not on Insta, otherwise I would have voted. Considering how much I still spend on SB and card making supplies, I would think she'd want my money. Oh well...

I'm surprised the choices weren't App or Really App?
She needs to make a freaking decision without everything being a poll. Jesus. Just tell the people what you are going to sell- for the love of God...develop a business plan.
I couldn't listen with all those dots across the top. I think I made it through 5-6. I'm guessing I got the overall message of what she was saying anyway. "My class is so good- I mean my dad reviewed it, but he loves it. Did you read the review from my mom? Get it before it's gone. It's never on sale, but wait, now it's on sale. Guys...don't miss out on this. I love you guys so I put it on sale. Guys, my house isn't done and I need to make some sales."
Was I close?

I get this feeling that she’s going to start publicly shaming us physical scrappers soon. A few years ago Becky said when selling the physical PL that Project Life was better than the traditional scrapbooking because with traditional scrapbooking husbands got sick of all the product taking up space and with PL you would have less stuff. This from a woman who hawked scrapbooking products for Creating Keepsakes for years. I won't even get into the patriarchal comment about the husbands. She just seems to have no idea how people live outside of her bubble and how condescending, out of touch, and frankly insulting she can be. She wrote a book on fancy lettering that would take forever but now she would shame us for taking the time to do that.

I don’t do much PL but I voted for physical product. Her polls were weird. ‘What do you use? ‘ What do you want to use?’ Uh, what I’m using now. She’s pretty much asking the same thing twice. Really she’s been asking for months. She’ll probably keep asking until she gets the answers she wants. But as Albert Einstein said, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

Seriously. WTF is wrong with her. It's her business. If she doesn't want to sell physical products anymore, quit selling the products. Stop trying to pretend it's "what her customers want/are asking for". She needs so much validation it's gross. Get a therapist for fuck's sake.
Someone else will fill the void or we will all make do with fuse tools and the regular page protectors. This makes me never want to buy anything from her ever again. I unfollowed her ages ago but now I'm done with all her products too.

She mentioned yesterday that we shouldn't "overthink" why she was taking the poll because she is just trying to stay in touch with her customers. Later, when promoting her yearbook class for the 5000th time and how it was closing forever on the 31st, she said not to DM her about why it was closing forever because she wasn't going "to sit around the campfire" explaining every decision she makes for the business because we should just trust her to do the right thing. So it's whiplash between please validate my decisions and don't you dare question my decisions.

Wow, how things have changed since the CK days. She has allowed herself to get too big for her own (and everyone else's) britches. Ughhhhh so glad I don't need her products to have scrapbooking homeostasis. She is pathetic and her product is subpar at best.
I will just stick to getting my product from people and companies that I don't mind patroning. She is far from one of them.

All of this shit is making me so giddy with excitement that I should finally be able to get the squared core kits at Tuesday Morning for $6.99 soon and the value kits for $4.99! I can't freaking wait. Better than the warehouse sale when AC offered the kits there. When people walk up to her product with excitement and their wallets open, she opens her mouth and closed the wallets go!!

I’m really hoping the page protectors don’t go away. I wish AC could step in and take over the products. I've never used the BH ones exclusively...the last set I got (the half a Design A) were cut incorrectly and I threw them all away. They were on sale on her site for half off, but no defects were mentioned in the item description, so I felt like I was taken on that purchase.
I almost always use WRMK, although they are getting harder and harder to find, too. I am hoping that Echo Park has their PP at the expo this year. I believe last year the EP booth had them and they were 5 packs of 10 for $10 and they had A TON in the typical configuration. I still have several years worth of WRMK page protectors, but I might end up spending a good deal of money on their divided page protectors if they still have them and for a good price, just in case so I don't run out. I used to buy the WRMK ones every year at the AC Warehouse sale in Utah, but with them not having one this year, I wasn't able to get any. I haven't actually used the Echo Park ones, but I have a page kit from them that included the PP with the papers and might test one out before the expo next week to be sure I like them.
Unfortunately, because of Becky losing her freaking mind, a lot of people are moving past PL so those of us that still do it and rely on access to the page protectors are left scrambling because they aren't as accessible on the market anymore.

And now there's a post about the poll in the SG FB group... The comment that starts with "Yes, this. I muted and I followed ages ago..." was posted by someone I would say has become a minor scrapbooking 'celebrity'. I was half surprised when I saw it was her but was happy to see it. Someone also asked Tracie what her thoughts on it were and she had a long reply. Nothing too noteworthy. I didn't screenshot it.

I just bought a fuse from Studio Calico for $7.50. I’ve never had or used one before but I’m a pocket scrapbooker and I’m afraid that I eventually won’t be able to find them

I’ve never had or used one before but I’m a pocket scrapbooker and I’m afraid that I eventually won’t be able to find them I have one, but am not smart enough to use it effectively. The seams always seem to come apart. It could be that WRMK's plastic is just too thick compared to other companies, but it's just too much work for me. I'd rather stock up while they're cheap. I can't imagine the time investment it would be to use the fuse for every page. I scrapbook with Design A (and the same pocket sized inserts) almost exclusively these days. It it ever came down to it, I'd probably end up just using a coordinating 12x12 cardstock and adhering my cards to that, but I'm hoping to push that far down into the future.

If she wants to reach the widest audience, why is she always expecting them to find her on Instagram during the right 24-hour period? Lots of people, especially older women who may scrapbook, rarely go online and certainly won't know how to track her down.

However, she has gone off the deep end in regards to professionalism and I am annoyed by her lack of business savvy. She is throwing darts and just keeping her head above water at this point. I unfollowed her on social media so my news comes from this board and I have to say I don't regret "unfollowing" her!

She was so pushy about the whole "do only Project Life" thing, which is understandable, but she didn't have to do it at the expense of traditional scrapbooking. I use pocket page cards in my pages all the time, and there are other people who do the same, but she never seemed to care or reach out to those people. A little inclusiveness could have gone a long way. She had decided on her direction and turned her back on everything else. She didn't (and still doesn't) seem to realize that when she turned her back to traditional scrapbooking, she also turned her back on the people who do it. It wouldn't have taken much to say, this is what I do now, but there's room for all of us!
