I just went and checked and it's gone. I think they disappear after 24 hours. Another thing I don't get. If she wants to reach the widest audience, why is she always expecting them to find her on Instagram during the right 24-hour period? Lots of people, especially older women who may scrapbook, rarely go online and certainly won't know how to track her down. It's simple. She doesn't want to reach the widest audience. She only wants the validators and the few left that still have a shred of hope for scrapbooking to show back up on her account.

I hate to see her stop because someone will remember she was an icon and use it as another example of the dying world of scrapbook hobbyist. Otherwise, it's her business, her decision, and she's showed over and over again she doesn't want a variety of customer opinions. Or any opinions other than YES. She certainly doesn't want my $$.
Moving on....

Finally found it. Yes Tracie admires Becky for trying to give people what they want and will actually buy lolol. Clearly she doesn't follow Becky.
I think it's comical that Becky tries to infer that people are no longer using physical product but yet Ali has a successful subscription business with physical product. KP still selling physical product. How many others?
I feel like she's trying to brainwash us 😂

Maybe she just sees a like mind.

What does it say that SC (while on shaky ground) is now doing better than Becky is?

I guess I’m totally behind the times. I JUST discovered pocket scrapbooking in the last few weeks. I would be a total sucker for new or even new-Ish kits and ideas—if she released any or advertised. Luckily, there are others who are behind the times and still using and releasing physical pocket scrappy products. I’m more than happy to give them my business.

Ex & I don’t have access to all of her pictures and I figure she can put some in after she gets it. I might make her some cards or titleswho know I might buy some if they fit my themes.

I made a 6x8 pocket scrapbook for a friend who is in the hospital. It was fun to mix papers, colors, and patterns but it was also quick and easy to put together. I admit—I’m hooked!

Kinda off topic from the PL discussion, but no, it is not funny to show a video of your dog missing the couch (IG) and basically clotheslining and then you laughing about it.
I find sharing something like that shows what a heartless bitch you are. Yes, she said the dog was not hurt.
But damn, let me clothesline you Becky, I'll bet it's not so funny then.
(Rant over, but stuff like that pisses me off)

That’s not the reaction I would have had. I’m really starting to hate her and I used to be such a fan girl.

You know she’s talking about getting an entire yearbook done in two hours. I just got 5 sets of tax papers done in two hours (1 rental property, 2 personals, 2 businesses) and I’m so relieved. Feeling so accomplished. So does she hate scrapbooking her family as much as I hate taxes? Cause she uses the exact same words to describe scrapbooking as I do the dreaded tax man.

I just ordered 3 of the 4 sets in the main catalog. One is just slathered in purples...I cannot wait to get that set in my hands. If they go in the discounted part of the retirement section, I might have to get another one. It is delicious!! AND the quality of their pocket cards is amazing. I still love my official PL branded SU kits, too. Top notch.

Ah, as a tax attorney you have hit on my two loves... scrapbooking and taxes! Hahaha. Joking aside, I like taxes, but I also do it because it pays. Scrapbooking I do just for fun. But yes, I get the impression from lots of professional scrapbookers that they “love” scrapbooking the way I “love” taxes, not the way we love scrapbooking.

Feeling so accomplished. So does she hate scrapbooking her family as much as I hate taxes? Cause she uses the exact same words to describe scrapbooking as I do the dreaded tax man. Oh, henny, Becky dislikes scrapbooking so much, it's not even funny. It's been clear for a while. She bashed her customers with her no-embellishing stance for Project Life and kept repeating the same message that was actually toxic: "Are you guilty of no longer scrapbooking? Do you feel shame about it? Let go of scrapbooking as you used to do it and buy my album, my page protectors and my core kit. Slip your photos in, jot some words down on a card - with my Project Life-branded pen, slip the card in, done! Look, it only took me five minutes to get a double page spread done!" She saw scrapbooking as a chore, not a fun activity. It was something that needed to get done, period. Same for her digital documenting: look at her 2018 yearbook, bare as bones. I'm a huge fan of a nice, classy, crisp, minimalist aesthetic photo book, don't get me wrong, but she posted a sh*t ton of IG Stories claiming how relieved she was to be done with a whole year's worth of memories in just a few hours. It was a pain in her derrière, alright. And that's why she'll never click with the large audience she once had and could still have. We are not forced to do this: we choose to and enjoy it.

I just went to her website because i was going to get a digital kit to print at home. The photo of Becky P. advertising the class was cringy. I decided to spend money elsewhere. I used to love Project Life products but when they exited Micheals I was kind of done with it. I'm not paying high shipping fees to get them outside the states. She should just give up on the whole creative memory keeping thing and refocus on simple digital family albums like she seems to want to. I am so glad I unfollowed her.

I don't get having recording on in the house when people are home - CREEPY!!!! I don't get viewing scrapbooking as a chore - something to get done as quickly as possible. I don't get how anyone w/such vapid ideas gets ahead in the world. One of the many "bugs" in how the world works.

So the memories and more card packs I got from SU are nice. The one with all of the purple is lovely...but there was a problem. The one card (featured in the catalog) that really sold me on the kit has a smudge (like a piece of dirty equipment made contact with it) right in the middle of where it's meant to be a pristine white on both cards...the other side of one of them has a black blob from what appears to be a defect in the paper. They are cut more like the cheap-o cards from Studio Calico where they aren't quite sharp enough and there is a lot of bleed through or transfer on the edges of many of the cards across the three packs (which was an issue that a lot of Project Life kits were experiencing).
The 12x12 papers I bought were also damaged (I didn't notice the foil sheets until I had already complained about the other paper, but it's not as bad, so I'll live) so I called and requested a replacement. I told the lady that while I was calling, I would also point out the defect in the card pack because it was a bit disappointing to see both copies of my favorite card in the set messed up even though the rest of the pack was fine. I emphasized I was just letting them know but that I wouldn't have even bothered if I weren't already calling about the paper problem. She is sending me replacements for both.
I'm glad to see their customer service is getting better again! The last time I had an issue with an ink pad completely drying out when none of the other colors had issues, because it wasn't immediately after it happened (they had just redone those ink pads, so I think they knew there was a problem...and now they don't even offer an in house made black ink pad which was one of the colors I had issues with) the lady said she'd send me replacements but that I was effectively stealing from them by 'putting her in that position'...whatever that position was. I even said that I understood if she wasn't able to replace them but that I wouldn't know if they were able to help or not if I didn't call and ask. She really turned me off of SU...I didn't buy anything after that for at least 2 years.
