And the fangirls have begun their sickening sweetness once again.  But of course they have. I remember reading about this one girl on YT who did $Tree haul videos, maybe I read it one the Bakery? Or something like that. Anyway she mean girled some other YT's last year or so, they called her out on her bullshit, she disappeared, her *Stans* welcomed her back with open arms and words of love. But she *bought* followers somehow. It was a shitshow and I just enjoyed the ringside seat, lol. |

And kinda off topic, but along the same line as blindly following YT *personalities*, there's a woman with a channel that always talks about being on a spending freeze, almost ad naseum (sp), and now her subbers are sending her supplies to use. Ummm? Why? So she thanks them, and then other people send her stuff. I don't get it.
And I know I can click the stop button, but the videos are usually loooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggg and I have it on for background noise when I'm messing around in my room.
So, (kinda like) a little vent over, lol

I'm sure a break was needed after your iNSD comment about scrapbooking on IG and then the back lash from the mass email you sent out where you quoted and berated a IG follower who commented on your post about iNSD.
Whether you "document" or do PL in pocket pages or strictly use the app or are a traditional scrapbooker or a hybrid of both what does it matter?!?
Whether I "evolve" or not doesn't matter! Isn't the important thing that we are telling stories and sharing them with our loved ones!
Hopefully this break has helped you to see that perhaps your comments that day were a bit condescending to many who follow you.

I just had to share here because of all our previous discussions on Mormonism.
I went to see The Book of Mormon last night and omg so funny. Everyone should go see it. But its not for children, there is a bit of crude humor (it's written by the same guy who writes South Park). It is a great satire on Mormons though.
And even if you can't see it, I would suggest listening to the soundtrack. My favorites are "Hello!" and "I Believe" or for the biggest satire on the Mormon religion I would suggest "All-American Prophet."

I just find it all kind of sad at what a train wreck her brand has become. It also floors me how many fan girls she has. Fan girls never are a good thing. I see it so much with authors on FB. The person gets such a big head and the fan is stuck in a time warp and keeps fanning their ego until no one can stand them. I commented on someone's post about how people need to be respectful and understanding to BH. I said but bashing people who do traditional scrapbooking is ok. |

Obviously people are enjoying her channel immensely. I am one of those who looks forward to what she publishes. She tells you up front she is chatty and that if you aren't interested in the chit chat to fast forward to the end so you can see the layout. She is inspirational and takes a lot of time making videos, coming up with content, which by the way, is fresh and interesting and does awesome giveaways. People are grateful for that so if they want to send her a gift card to show their appreciation for her time and efforts then so be it. She thanks those people on her channel to acknowledge her appreciation for their thoughtfulness. Also, there is a little button called "unsubscribe", try using it.

I’m not much of a tv watcher either but yt is great especially for tutorials so I enjoy it Thank you. And yes, I do love the discussion on this board and feel a bit red faced that I commented not so nicely (says the girl who's dissin' BH. lol). And I'm the same, not really a tv watcher, nor do I follow any certain YTuber's closely enough to know their personality, it's mostly on for background noise. And perhaps, I was a bit too quick to jump to conclusions based on 3 or 4 videos. |
