It was NOT supply + demand it was pure stubbornness on the part of the business to not listen to customers& make appropriate changes. Plenty of people are STILL pocket scrapping & buying pocket scrapping kits, but BECKY decided it wasn’t how SHE wanted to sell her product. And BECKY insinuated that isn’t how we should scrap! Insinuating it was old fashioned & tiresome. The same way she slammed traditional scrapping when she brought out PL. Well dear maybe I don’t want 8 or so of the same exact card. 3 Tops will do then move on & sell me something else. My bet is that both traditional scrapping & pocket scrapping will outlast Ms Higgins business, without a major change/intervention/sale to someone with an ounce of business sense. What ever the hell is in those boxes I doubt I want it. Unless it a super fantastic at home photo printer that the refills aren’t an arm & a leg. But even then I’d be hesitant to trust it. Supply & demand my ass, Yep. And I might have at least 10 years of the WRMK branded design A style page protectors but I still buy out ALL 4 of my TM's when they get them in...have gotten 20 packs this summer alone (3 each one time and another time 2 got 3 packs amd 2 got 2 packs) because I know they will be impossible to find at some point and if I can find them they will be $$$$ and those were 1.99 per 10 pack.

"It's coming for you..." this sounds vaguely threatening. Whatever it is, I probably don't want or need it, esp since she made it clear that we should be self sufficient and scrapbooking without her. Haha, I thought the same thing, as in, "it's coming to get me!"

Becky said quite a while ago that there was no new manufacturing of physical project life products so I think once her online store and Amazon, etc. run out that is going to be it. I went ahead and stocked up on my most favorite page protectors. Check out scrapook.com. They have their own brand of divided page protectors. I'm not sure on the quality though. Other peas may know. If you are able to find Echo Park or WRMK's, they are a better than BH. Echo Park's are almost identical to the WRMK ones quality wise for those concerned. I will be continuing to stock up on those at expos, too. PL is my most doable (I scrap slow so this lets me include more of my and my family's life for the time investment) and likely most enjoyed 'fad'...BH has guaranteed that is what it is going to be seen as in a few years, just like plannering and tn's.

I've been buying a variety of protectors. I forgot to mention SEI! They are no longer selling scrap supplies, but I have some from them as well. I even have a few that are smaller than the divided 12x12 protectors. They are better quality than BH. I think my favorite is actually the D style protector or one I got from Echo Park that is all 6x4. I take more vertical pictures with my phone. It takes a bit more planning figuring out layouts because of all the mixed orientations of the pages. I use the PhotoSheet program and it helps tons! I am also a very slow scrapper. I do a little as I go along and leave notes of what I need to finish. It would probably drive an OCD person nuts!

I think Becky is partly right...customers demanded something and she failed to supply it so customers went to companies that met their needs. Does that make it more of a demand and supply problem? 🤔😂 I stand corrected 😜

Ya'll, it's probably a how to run your business (in the ground) self help book.
Where's the prize for being right? 😊

Also, anyone think it is odd that Becky herself is shipping out the product? That's not super typical of someone in her position (or her old position), right? I have been watching Grace and Frankie on Netflix and it reminds me of their vibrator business. www.facebook.com/GraceandFrankie/WE DON'T WANT THAT BECKY! We want scrapbooking supplies! Wait, wait, wait. Don't be too hasty. Can't we have BOTH?

She will never connect the dots that she cut her design team (when others are adding more members or at least not cutting any) and she stopped showing product. I’m not sure how she doesn’t understand that a creative industry likes to see creative uses of product and that translates to demand. Her continue victim mentality in her business is ridiculous. Although I guess if you say something enough times- and your Other Becky BFF tells you how awesome you are repeatedly- you start believing it.

Becky learns NOTHING from past experience.
Remember how she hyped the 'home' line only to release that cringe-worthy wrapping paper video? A lot of people were like 'is that it?!? nothing else?!?! wrapping paper?!'
Now she's at it again, teasing a trunk of boxes as if they're the next coming.
Wow.

When are her own font pottery items gonna start popping up so she can get her $ from the Rae Dunn obsession? She copied other Magenta ideas with the signs and such, why not this one?

I looked at her IG post, curiosity got the best of me. Some of the posters didn't realize she wasn't producing physical PL products anymore and somebody posted back this (was it somebody here? If so I love you!):

Im gonna go with she wrote a book. Whatever is in the boxes must be heavy or the boxes would be larger. Or maybe she made a calendar/journal? The timing would be about right for her to sell it before the new year.

Does lisa Bernstein still have a blog? I couldn't find her by googling I did a Google search for Lisa Bearnson, and I couldn't see a blog. She hasn't tweeted since 2015. It looks like she has a Facebook page, but I'm not on Facebook to check it outl

Some of the posters didn't realize she wasn't producing physical PL products anymore In fairness, I think many people read her "announcement" as no NEW, as in never seen/designed before, products would be produced. I think people assumed the products already available, especially albums and page protectors, would be restocked. I went back to read through those responses and her whole, "I don't know. I wish I had answers." is so flaky. She does know. Just say explicitly she's done with all physical PL and go get it from her shop or Amazon while you can. That's the honest thing to do rather than vague posts that string people along.

Off topic of the new exciting product she's got "coming for us" (eye roll) but I was scrapping this weekend and noticed that the quality and material of the newer PL divided protectors I was using was completely different than the old ones. It was thinner and crinklier...almost like cellophane rather than plastic. Not good at all.

If she lies or pretends like it isn't actually going away, there are probably a good many people who will continue to follow her just in case new products of the scrapbooking variety show up again.
I'm just over here hoping that TM continues to get small numbers of WRMK page protectors in the styles I want every couple of months. Easier to afford them that way, lol. I'm also over here hoping that more square cornered kits start to show up at TM (including the value kits that)...I think the newest 2 or 3 core kits might be harder to find, but there were at least 2 produced in enough quantities to be made available to Joann's to carry...so hopefully that will find it's way there in the near future. I hope that TM didn't get turned off by the PL kits piling up at many stores and opt out of carrying more. I'm in it for the squared kits!!!

You need to be fast at TM to grab a square cornered kit. The square cornered kits fly off the shelves the rounded ones sit there even @ $7 TM price tag But it was supply & demand not Becky’s choices blah blah blah 🙄

I don't think I can contain my eyerolling and gaffawing over this latest post. Oversharing does not equal transparency. I don't think MORE information or MORE detail is what's needed. Let's try for quality over quantity. Less information and detail that is accurate, straightforward and not cryptic. http://instagram.com/p/B1_iTEIBQZA

She used a lot of words to say nothing other than "sign up for my mailing list." As someone with a diagnosed anxiety disorder, I'd like to know how she's keeping hers down, aside from lavish vacations that can be written off because I'm pretty tired of fighting every day. Maybe those boxes are filed with prozac! Or maybe you're all right about the vibrators..... hmmm. Has she been crying in her videos lately? Maybe she found a fix? I think we've figured it out!
