Definitely use it! I toss dried pasta after 2 years past the use by date: "Dried pasta will last for 1-2 years beyond a "best by" date, whereas fresh pasta will last for 4-5 days beyond a "best by" date. The shelf life of pasta depends on a variety of factors, such as the best by date, the preparation method and how it was stored." www.eatbydate.com/grains/pasta-shelf-life-expiration-date/

I think that's a best by date (but don't quote me), so if that was the only pasta in the house, I'd probably cook it, but toss the rest if I didn't use the whole box.

I wouldn’t even think to check for an expiration date on pasta. I’d eat it.

There is an expiration date on pasta??? I'm sure it's not an "expiration" date, but rather it's a "best used by" date. Which really means nothing when it's just a few months. Especially for something like dried pasta. Maybe after a few years....?

Definitely yes and I am virtually always on the NO side of these things. I cooked a box of pasta a couple of weeks ago with a 2014 date on it. It was just fine.

Yay and I'm usually pretty particular with my "best by" dates. Dry goods don't worry me as much, but refrigerated items I'm super stringent about.
