scrapnnana - It is Easy Mold Putty or Amazing Mold Putty you are thinking of. It is also called 2 Part Silicone for those who do not want to buy name brand. I use Amazing Mold Putty since it is food safe. It is kind of expensive. I am tend to be a bit hoardy with mine. I have no idea what these corners you are all talking about. I know molds so I can give some tips if anybody needs help. You don't have to buy the mold putty's. You can make your own silicone molds. There are a lot of amazing YT tutorials teaching you how to do this. I do make my own. I also buy the 2Part because it is food safe. Making your own molds just cost pennies. You mainly use silicone and cornstarch. It is messy but easy. I also use Oyumaru. It is a plastic type mold. You drop it into hot water and it becomes pliable to make a mold. When you are done you can put it in hot water again and make a different mold for something else. It is popular in the decoden & modeling community. If you live near a Daiso (I am jealous of you you can get Oyumaru very inexpensively. Mold Materials- Definitely UTEE is a good idea since so many stampers do have it on hand. If you don't have UTEE you can do UV Resin which is inexpensive and cures faster than 2 Part Resin. You can cure it in the sunshine. It is mainly used in fingernail art. If you have the lamp you have an quick inexpensive resin material. You can get 2Part at Daiso also inexpensively. I order mine from Ebay. Also you can use 2 Part Resin. I truly don't know what the corners are you are talking about. I am honestly not going to buy anything from MSP so I don't have a need to look at her product lines. Not trying to be a hater or anything. I have seen corner silicone molds on Ebay in the baking section. They are very inexpensive. A couple dollars and less. Once again Daiso has silicone molds too. Daiso should pay me for all the time I wrote Daiso in this post, lol. I don't even have one but I want a store so bad I could cry. All the ideas I wrote you could probably make what you are all trying to make for around $5-$10 if you make the silicone mold on your own or use Oyumaru. If you buy 2Part Silicone it would still be inexpensive but the mold material is a bit pricey but you could make other molds too. Hope that helps. I love to make my own tools. I love to help people make their own tools. Not trying to take money away from anyone. I know that as artists we have different needs with our set of tools and need to customize them.

Thank you, amayalylac! You have given some absolutely great info and tips here!
The corners referred to are like an L-shaped stamp positioner except with even sides, and they have magnets embedded in them. They are used to position your cardstock farther from the inside edge of the stamp platform, so that you can have a stamp hanging off beyond the card when stamping. It helps to keep the card lined up correctly.
I realized that the corners are unnecessary for the Tim Holtz/Tonic stamp platform, at least in most cases. All you need to do is position your folded card in the corner, but rotate it so that the side for stamping (with the stamp hanging off) is positioned outward. It may be different than you would normally be inclined to position it when stamping with just a wood mounted stamp or clear block. It's just a matter of stamping upside down or sideways instead of the normal position. It would not work quite the same if you are trying to stamp a full 12x12 background page. That would be the one need for the corners, since the corner positioner would have to be in the corner. I hope I am making sense. The corners are mainly to line everything up exactly even, but to give the stamper a way to move the cardstock away from the edge of the platform in order to make room for a stamp to hang off the edge.
I really appreciate all the information about molds, etc., that you shared. I have used the Easy Mold Putty in the past with UTEE to duplicate button shapes that I needed more of but which were not available to purchase, but I could not remember the name.
I once used a plastic ages ago that you dropped into boiling water to soften for molding into whatever shape you wanted. I had not thought of that material till you brought it up. I like the idea of being able to reshape it over and over for other things.
I will have to look at what molds Daiso has. I am assuming they are food safe? I don't need the magnetic corners, but I am into candy making, and once in awhile, I do some cake decorating.

If one were to search on a certain Chinese website for Stamping Tool Perfect Position, they are as low as $4.97. Kind of tempting to see what you get for that price.

I think customers were coming up with some kind of cardstock or cardboard corners. She couldn't have that. So again she took someone else’s idea and patented it.

scrapnnana I am really sure Daiso's molds are food safe. I forgot everyone if you are looking for the mold putty's you need to go to the polymer clay section of your craft store. It will be with the resin. The corners seem to make her stamp press a lot more confusing that it is. I am sure for many they are a lifesaver and quite easy to figure out. I would be confused. I like my tools to be simple. I am really super glad I got Tim's press. I saw a Stamparatus video the other day and I fell in love with that one too. I will be the olive branch here. I hope with this new partnership that she understands and respects that there are so many different styles of stamping. That her and Tonic continue to make stamp presses for all our different styles. I know if all of this controversy didn't come out and I bought the Misti I think I would have been unhappy with it. It would not fit my needs. WRMK's stamp press would have been worse. Tim's press is perfect for me. I know to other's it is a nightmare. I am tired of all the craft wars. It is so petty and mean. It should be about creativity and art. The companies should be making tools that market all our unique and beautiful art styles. Not throwing out lawsuits. I am for protecting your intellectual property. Tonic/Misti, SCAL/MTC/Cricut kind of lawsuits it is like the companies bring them out to the public and cause a significant amount of backlash and anger from the audience they are marketing. I guess I am really touchy about all of this right now. I was on one of my frugality sites the other night. This is a private forum that hardly talks about any crafting at all. Least not paper crafting. The crafting they talk about is making gifts, food, clothes for their family. There was a discussion about what you would like to change about your life that is personally affecting you and your frugality? This floored me because I didn't know this lady was in our paper community. She said she wanted to get out of the paper crafting community because they shame you so much. They make you feel bad and not part of the crowd unless you do what they do or own what they own. Then she wrote about wanting to make her own little stamp tool. She explained what this tool was. Trust me the girls didn't know what she was talking about but I knew instantly. The owner and her minions shamed this beautiful woman so bad and threatened her this beautiful woman wanted to commit suicide. Her doctor said she had terrible PTSD. She is in therapy now! I read her story and I threw up. I am not joking about that. I am already writing another long post but the details she shared was horrendous. I am still trying to come to process her horrific story.

Oh, amaylylac, that story just breaks my heart, even though you didn't give a lot of details.
I agree that the anger, shaming, blaming, etc., has gone too far, and it happens too often.
We all have the right to refuse to do business with a company because we don't like the way they do business, but despite all the angry words, the lawsuits, etc., eventually most things blow over and people move on, such as following the Provo Craft/Cricut lawsuit.
Unfortunately, harsh words do not blow over. They can wound deeply and be remembered forever. For those dealing with depression, anxiety, or other challenges, they can be the final push over the edge.
Thank you for reminding us of that.

I went ahead and ordered the travel size TH platform and I'm really happy with it. I paid probably too much on Amazon but figured a few extra $ was not that big of a deal. Thanks for enabling me!

When I checked a few days ago, the TH travel platform was still available on Amazon, but the price keeps creeping upward. If anyone still wants it, you may want to get it sooner than later.

I would very much un recommend the WRMK Precision Press from American Crafts. All my lids are cracking and customer service insists they are mold scratches. Some others are having the same issue and complaining on their FB page. They refuse to replace the lids. Every peg hole has a crack that goes all the way through. In some sort of nuts frenzy I bought two of these and several extra lids. It is still stamping but the cracks are spreading so I imagine it will fail. I have my TH big and small so hopefully they will last. I really think the TH products are the best for the foreseeable future. I can’t hold my nose long enough to buy anything that MSP has in store for us.

I don’t have a dog in the stamping platform fight. I bought the TH platform because it met my needs, good price, and I bought it on special. All this conversation made me curious, so I just looked at the website for the Misti.
First, waaaayyy too much money. Second, I wouldnt buy it due to the religious quote. Same reason I don’t shop at HL due to their stance about not covering certain reproductive services for employee insurance. Third, I got a big laugh with an entire patent section on her site AND above each description, the patent number is displayed. I don’t have a problem with people protecting their patent, but it seems she takes it far.
Just my own observations.

I’m always amused by the irony of all the #kindnessmatters champions using the Misti. Me too! I am honestly really sick of all of the #kindness campaigning that so many of the cardmakers do. I try to let my actions speak for themselves. I've never once thought of being mean but then thought about the #kindnessmatters campaign and changed my mind and acted kind instead. I just try to be kind in the first place. I think the people that feel the need to lecture the most are often the ones that need the lesson themselves the most.

I wish that Gina K and her daughter weren't such MISTI fans. I just watched one of their videos, and they were saying how "Iliana rocks," because she donated MISTIs to all the attendees of their event. And Gina K is always using the MISTI in her videos. I really like Gina K and her daughter, but they've definitely gone down a few places on my list of favorite creatives. It's very disappointing.

I agree about this kindness stuff. The kindest people I know don’t advertise their virtue. Sending cards with preachy kindness sentiments to my friends would annoy the heck out of them. Tonic and MSP hooking up feels like the bad guy won. I guess the good news is we all have an opportunity to get the last of the TH platforms before they disappear.

I plan to bring my THTravelSP to use even though we're only supposed to bring cutter, scissors and tape runner I don't know how true this is, but... I was at Scrapbook Expo yesterday watching a demo and a customer was asking questions about the THSP (several booths had them and a lot of people were buying them). She said she was considering but wasn't sure she actually needed it. The vendor in that booth said "You should make your decision soon. They won't be available after August." I don't know if she meant their store would be out of the them, or if Tonic has to stop selling them on Aug 31st. My friend and I looked at each other and we both thought she meant the latter. Edited

I suspect that it is both. Stores have probably been told that they will not be available to order after a certain date. It is also entirely possible that any platforms not yet sold have to be returned to to Tonic, at which point they will probably be sent overseas where they can still be sold.
I'm guessing that Tonic probably had to stop production of them, at least if any were manufactured in the U.S. If they are manufactured overseas, then they probably have stopped all further shipments to the U.S.
The other possibility is that the "collaborated" stamp platform may be available in September to stores/vendors, and they want to get rid of their current stock, assuming that stampers will want the newer version.
All of this, however, is totally just a guess on my part.
I have both the regular and travel versions of the THSP and love them. I did find that when using them, I need a firm surface underneath, such as a sturdy wood table, not a plastic table.

I’m so,glad I ordered the THSP I hesitated before because I had the Misti. Tim’s works so much better I used it today and was amazed at the difference in the two. I usually have to stamp and restamp with the Misti and with Tim’s it was one stamp and it was perfect.

Quick review of the TH x Tonic Studios Travel Stamp Platform: I. Love. It. Just played around with it and it's da bomb. I like it even better than the regular size I got when it was released last year. This one stamps even better. Highly recommended! If you're new to these platforms and are hesitating between both sizes: get the small one!

I purchased a MISTI long ago, but found certain features about it limiting. After my purchase, I discovered the owner is a raging bitch through shenanigans she pulled in various groups. I'd never give her another dime of my money. I've got both sizes of the TH now and I'm good.

I like my small TH the best also. Don’t use my Misti much. i always laugh when I see Jennifer McGuire hanging cardstock up over those one too many bumpers. I feel like saying girl don’t even try to make that look like that makes sense. You’re an engineer.

I stamp on my wooden dining table because my craft table is a folding plastic thing and has too much give to guarantee good results with the platform. I love my little TH glad I panicked and got one when I did.

I have the bigger TH platform but with all this drama going on I ended up with a severe case of FOMO. I caved and bought the TH travel size since it was on sale even though I don’t go to crops. It turns out that I love it. I have a lot of small stamps and it’s perfect for them.
I wonder about the upcoming collaboration. Will it be a pink TH platform? Or a MISTI with reversible plates. Will it be called the MISTIM? Time will tell.

I hear ya. I have the stampoholic and love it and the TH platform. No way does she get my money. I can't believe TH has to stop selling. What about the stamping up one? Is she going after them. The wrmk is way different now so I can't see her going after them I have only just opened the wrmk new stamping platform but not used it yet. Wondered if anyone had the SU platform and when she was going to go after both of these! I'm grateful I bought the TH platform before she had another go at them! What the heck?

I thought I was home free with my WRMK platforms and three spare lids. After noticing that each lid has cracks extending from each peg hole I’m not sure it’s going to hold up. Customer Service is not interested in replacing any of it. I’m embarrassed that I raved about it here before I inspected it. My TH platforms have no flaws so I’m guessing they will hold up.
I’m resistant to buying something that profits MSP and now it looks like other US companies will be reluctant to come out with their own platforms. There are some that are not sold in the US that look promising. The Vaessen Stamp Easy has rubber type feet and a floating hinge that adjusts vertically to accommodate different stamp thicknesses. Extra postage is the only drawback to buying overseas and that may be where the innovation happens. I’m wondering if a Tonic/TH collaboration will continue over there and they will come up with a second generation.
