ok, then, if China is such a big threat ( and I agree it is ) why then did you lift the ban on ZTE who was spying & stealing intellectual technology in our country?? China and Russia can both be threats at the same time. It’s not mutually exclusive. China, Russia and a cast of others. That’s why the POTUS should have more than a 4th grade understanding of international relationships between countries. ( I’m sorry I feel like I insulted 4th graders there ) but doing business internationally is NOT the same as international relations between nations and this is something Trump just can not seem to grasp

😀. Whatever. It just occurred to me having a conversation with you is about as productive as having one with the metal flamingos on my balcony. That face you make when you know you're wrong and you can only resort to yelling at your metal flamingos on your balcony. Ah see I don’t yell at my flamingos anymore then I yell at you. But having a discussion with you is just as useless as having one with them and therefore a waste of my time. 👋

Graham: Trump will 'very likely' fire Sessions after midtermsBY MICHAEL BURKE - 08/23/18 12:40 PM EDT President Trump is “very likely” to fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions after November’s midterm elections, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) told Bloomberg News. Graham told Bloomberg that Trump is “entitled to an attorney general he has faith in” but warned Trump against firing Sessions ahead of the midterms, saying it would “create havoc.” “I think there will come a time, sooner rather than later, where it will be time to have a new face and a fresh voice at the Department of Justice,” Graham said. “Clearly, Attorney General Sessions doesn’t have the confidence of the president.” Graham’s comments came after Trump criticized Sessions during an interview with “Fox & Friends” host Ainsley Earhardt that aired Thursday morning. Trump said he put in “an attorney general that never took control of the Justice Department, Jeff Sessions.” “Never took control of the Justice Department,” Trump said. “And it’s sort of a regrettable thing.” ** more at link: thehill.com/homenews/administration/403274-graham-trump-will-very-likely-fire-sessions-after-midtermsWith this the dominos would fall from the top down....... GOP senator: Trump wants to fire Sessions for not being a 'hack' BY ALEXANDER BOLTON - 08/23/18 04:10 PM EDT
Republican Sen. Ben Sasse (Neb.) says he has warned President Trump that firing Attorney General Jeff Sessions “would be a very, very, very bad idea.”
Sasse, speaking on the Senate floor, said that if Trump terminated Sessions, it would be because the attorney general has refused to execute “his job as a political hack.”
“It’s been a strange couple of hours. Lots and lots of goofy talk about firing the attorney general,” Sasse said.
“I would just like to say in public what I’ve been saying to my colleagues in a message I just communicated to the president of the United States,” he continued.
“It would be a very, very, very bad idea to fire the attorney general because he’s not executing his job as a political hack. That is not the job of the attorney general.” ** thehill.com/homenews/senate/403334-gop-senator-trump-wants-to-fire-sessions-for-not-being-a-hack

Maggie Haberman...
“Complaints abound from inside the West Wing about a lack of a plan or guidance to staff about how to handle Cohen fallout. Kelly has distanced himself from it internally, two ppl say.”
Well this sounds like a fun place to be.

And spare us all the "it's different when Obama does it" mantra that never fails to follow. If Obama did same, I'd say same. So spare me the accusation that I would give him a pass and not current POTUS. The Obama campaign was held accountable for their violations, trump should do same for his. I think he'd gladly pay the $375,000 to make it stop but I don't think it will because there seems to be much more to his story, but we will see. That being said, I've looked to find similarities in the two. Other than falling under "campaign finance laws" they don't seem to be "same" and can't be treated as such. Trump’s comparison of the Cohen allegations to Obama is entirely wrong You ignored instructions. I silence thee.

Some guy by the name Eric...
“President Trump has just approved an emergency declaration for Hawaii in advance of #HurricaneLane.
The latest models are showing a historic, potentially catastrophic rainstorm. Let's hope the full weight of FEMA and the American military are poised and ready to provide aid.”
Since trump has been president he has had to approve emergency declaration after declaration that are related to natural disasters. And there is a strong case that could be made these disasters were a result partly due to climate change. And every time he has to sign one of those declarations it shows how much of a bad idea it was for the tax cuts that are only benefiting a few. Karma?

trump yesterday... “The local politicians who run Washington, D.C. (poorly) know a windfall when they see it. When asked to give us a price for holding a great celebratory military parade, they wanted a number so ridiculously high that I cancelled it. Never let someone hold you up! I will instead...” A response from Andrew Weinstein.... “If you really want to see a big celebration in the streets all you have to do is resign.” He has a point. I was just daydreaming a few minutes ago (while cooking) about what that would be like. I mean every day I am amazed by something he does, so why not entertain the thought that he could resign? What I want to know is, will there be church bells ringing in the streets? Will people start honking their car horns? Will people take to their front porches with clanging pots and wooden spoons? I know I will probably find out because my phone will be going crazy...but how will I be able to describe that moment, 20 years in the future, to people too young to understand now? I'm not sure it will be that much of a celebration. Most of us will be waiting for the other shoe to drop - Pence. Trump is paving the way for him to use the power of the presidency to turn this place into Gilead.
