Josh Dawsey....
“Trump leaves rally in West Virginia without one mention of Paul Manafort's conviction or Michael Cohen pleading guilty to campaign finance charges and alleging that Trump worked with him to illegally pay off women who alleged they slept with Trump.”
I wonder if trump has gone from belligerent to scared and that is why he was talking about his mother’s turkey at the rally tonight? 🦃🦃🦃

Most legal analysts (not under the influence of the orange kool-aid) state that dt is now an "unindicted co-conspiractor" to Cohen's crimes. AND Cohen's lawyer stated tonight that Cohen will meet with Mueller, he has more to say..........

Walter Shaub...
“The criminal information in the Cohen case shows that Trump paid Cohen $35k per month for 12 months in January 2017. This means that TRUMP KNEW HE HAD A DEBT TO COHEN WHEN HE OMITTED IT from the liabilities section of the financial disclosure report he filed in June 2017”

And isn't this special too?!?!? Larry Kudlow, Trump Adviser, Hosted White Nationalist Publisher At Home: Report “If I had known this, we would never have invited him,” Kudlow said of VDARE founder Peter Brimelow. By Sebastian Murdock 08/21/2018 07:46 pm ET The publisher of a white nationalist, anti-immigration website was a guest in the home of President Donald Trump’s top economic adviser, Larry Kudlow. Kudlow told The Washington Post he did not know about Peter Brimelow’s racist beliefs when he had him over to his house on Monday for his birthday party. ** Just days earlier, White House speechwriter Darren Beattie was fired when it was revealed he had attended a white nationalist event with Brimelow in 2016. Beattie gave an “academic” talk at the event, he said in a statement. Other members of Trump’s circle have made their ties to white supremacy known. Former adviser Steve Bannon, for instance, told audience members at a far-right gathering in France in May that they should embrace being called racists. And the president’s current White House senior policy adviser, Stephen Miller, ran a “Terrorism Awareness Project” in college that worked to combat “the efforts of the radical left and its Islamist allies to destroy American values and disarm this country as it attempts to defend itself in a time of terror.” Trump has expressed his own white nationalist beliefs. After a neo-Nazi allegedly killed one counterprotester and injured dozens more during a white supremacist rally last year in Charlottesville, Virginia, he said there were “very fine people on both sides” of the demonstration. ** More at link: www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/larry-kudlow-trump-white-nationalist_us_5b7c8893e4b0348585fb5b54?ncid=%20edlinkusaolp00000029Certainly not as important as the rest of today's events, but interesting none the less ! Does anyone here just invite random people to their birthday party..? I consider birthday parties to be more personal shared with family and friends!

We do not need those kind of people in Office.

Of course always possible with kids, but Kudlow is an adult and the party was within the last week, if not yesterday. Didn't he come from Fox? Or am I wrong there?

Wrong is wrong. We don't (and shouldn't) accept "but everyone's doing it!" from our children. We sure as hell shouldn't accept it from our candidates and elected officials.

Third tweet this morning: “Michael Cohen plead guilty to two counts of campaign finance violations that are not a crime. President Obama had a big campaign finance violation and it was easily settled!”
If it’s not a crime what did he plead guilty to??

Of course I looked it up...
trump...
Michael Cohen plead guilty to two counts of campaign finance violations that are not a crime. President Obama had a big campaign finance violation and it was easily settled!
From the Washington Post..
“Obama campaign to pay $375,000 fine for omitting some donor’s names in 2008”
Somehow leaving donor names names off some filing isn’t quite the same as paying “hush” money to two people who’s stories could have changed the outcome of an election.

This from trump must make him nervous...
“I feel very badly for Paul Manafort and his wonderful family. “Justice” took a 12 year old tax case, among other things, applied tremendous pressure on him and, unlike Michael Cohen, he refused to “break” - make up stories in order to get a “deal.” Such respect for a brave man!”
The fact that they went back 12 years for the wrong doing must have trump sweating bullets. I firmly believe what will bring trump down will involve money. Either things like they got Manafort for or money laundering.

Fiscally conservative, right there!!! WOOT!
"Republican Congressman Duncan Hunter and his wife, Margaret, routinely -- and illegally -- used campaign funds to pay personal bills big and small, from luxury vacations to kids' school lunches and delinquent family dentistry bills, according to a stinging 47-page indictment unsealed Tuesday. The charges of wire fraud, falsifying records, campaign finance violations and conspiracy were the culmination of a Department of Justice investigation that has stretched for more than a year, during which the Republican congressman from California has maintained his innocence. The detailed indictment portrays the Hunters as living well beyond their means and said they "knowingly conspired with each other" to convert campaign funds to personal use. "
If by "fiscally conservative" you mean "conserving" your own personal "fiscals :*) --- i.e. finances" and using other people's money illegally.

Asa Rangappa has a point..
“If you think "old" crimes shouldn't be prosecuted, why are you deporting people who came here illegally as kids, through no fault of their own, a long time ago? Why don't you feel very badly for them, and their wonderful families?”
About this...
trump.

"Meanwhile, Mr. Manafort faces a second trial on seven more criminal charges next month in Washington. There, in a district where Mr. Trump barely won 4 percent of the vote, Mr. Manafort is expected to face an even tougher jury pool than he did for the trial here. The special counsel’s office has already submitted more than 1,000 possible exhibits of evidence for the second trial, prompting Mr. Manafort’s lawyers to ask for an extension to further review the evidence. The charges include money laundering, failure to register as a foreign agent and obstruction of justice." www.nytimes.com/2018/08/21/us/politics/takeaways-guilty-manafort-trial.html

“Trying to recall if the Obama campaign ever engaged in an elaborate conspiracy to hide the payment of hush money days before an election to women whose stories would embarrass the candidate and imperil the campaign.🤔 Uh, no. Nothing routine about this. It’s a crime.”
