This challenge is for those who scrap slowly and need encouragement to keep scrapping all month or those who want a little encouragement to continue scrapping. It is great for those new to Challenges and is a fun place to come chat with other Pokey scrappers. 1. Post a layout each week, or four layouts per month. These can be posted in the thread or in the gallery. If you post in the gallery, be sure to come to the thread and tell us you posted and tell us the name of the layout so we can find it. You can copy the URL from the gallery and paste it directly into your thread for a link. 2. This challenge can be combined with any other challenges and can be paper, digital or hybrid scrapping. These can be cards, layouts or altered items or any other creative projects. 3. Please comment on the work of others on the thread as your time allows. We all love comments on our layouts. 4. Have fun with this! This should be a "no pressure" challenge. Just post what you finish whether it is one layout or more than four. Come chat with the group as time permits. We love to welcome new members . There are no prizes for this challenge, just a chance to enjoy the works of other Pokey Peas Refugees. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

I'm starting this a bit early for fear I will forget to do it early tomorrow morning. I hope you all have some fun plans for August and have saved time to SCRAP, SCRAP, SCRAP to your heart's content.
I am looking forward to making pages and actually using scissors, stamps, and pens that have been impossible with my right hand.
Happy Day!

Hello Pokeys! Welcome to August! Good to hear your wrist is doing so well, nylene. And delighted you decided to join in to the August Team challenges. Looking forward to seeing all your creations this month. That happens to me a lot, kellyr21. I accidentally hit something and POOF! off goes my typing into never never land! Glad you checked in. How is your decorationg coming? I had planned to be out in the garden this morning, but we had a sudden thunder storm about 5AM that dumped about 1/4 inch of rain on us, so I decided to do some stuff in the house instead. I have spent the morning reading through all the fantastic August challenges and getting them numbered, listed and linked so they are easy to find when we need them. I also have a rhubarb spice cake in the oven, and hope to get a bunch more peas (picked and shelled yesterday) blanched and bagged and ready for the freezer. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Ok, here goes again! LOL! Good afternoon everybody! My decorating is almost done. Still need to get a few more things together. I wanted to make a few paintings with my colors to tie the whole room together. This painting was supposed to be my practice picture on paper. Then I was gonna redo it on a large canvas. But it turned out so well, I decided to frame it and call it a day. LOL!
Coral & Pink Florals by Kelly Roberts, on Flickr Here is the framed one on my wall. Framed Floral Art by Kelly Roberts, on Flickr I just love the colors. So happy and warm. Over the weekend we went on a vacation to a local hotel in Newport Beach. I had a few plans to go here and there but we were just plain tuckered out. We stayed in and rested the whole weekend. Ron went out to get food and that was that. I woke up sick on Sunday but by mid morning I felt better and just wanted to come home. So we did. Hopefully this weekend or this month we can get to some of those fun areas at the beach we missed. #vacationpart2 LOL! nylene- Home décor is like my art now. I just found some ideas I liked online and Pinterest for inspiration and a road map. Then I started looking for the items in our local big box stores. So it has been fun like art. I am still surprised with all the things I got and the little money I spent too. These changes have made a big difference in our little space. Pictures are coming soon. Maybe take a small area you want to update and look for colors and styles you like. As creative as you are, I know you can do great at décor!!! msliz- I am glad you got some great pictures at the wedding. How did your makeup turn out from your sweet dd? I am sure your looked amazing! grammadee- Oh all your fruits and veggies sounds great. How did your baking turn out? When it cools down here maybe I can bake again. Whew, it's been hotttt here! Oh another thing I had in my original post is about my old computer and tv I have had sitting in my kitchen area. They weren't being used and the tv didn't even work. But emotionally, I wasn't ready to part with them. Recently, I felt ready. So I made arrangements with Best Buys. They recycle old electronic equipment I found out. So Ron took it all last night and I struggled a little but was relived to let it go. Now today I feel happy and excited to finally turn that little corner into a nook where I have tea or breakfast. Another decorating project! Yeah! LOL! Well, off to my craft table and have a great afternoon y'all.

Oh, kellyr21, it is so nice to see you so happy and creative. I love, love, love your painting. I am always amazed by your artistry. Such beautiful flowers and such pretty soft colors. Congrats on getting rid of your old electronics which made a nice little nook for you. grammadee, your 50th Anniversary family trip sounds wonderful. What a great way to celebrate. Congrats to you and your DH. I am looking forward to starting the Aug challenge once things settle down a bit next week. msliz, I am anxious to see your photos. Was it a more formal photo you were hoping to get with DH? Hope you can still get it. LisaDV, you are brave volunteering to be the team leader of the August challenge. I hope I don't let you down. While I don't have time to scrap, I will try to look over the list and create some layouts in my head! That's almost as fun as scrapping. Waving hello to justjac, @elaynef, and woodysbetty. I hope each of us has a productive August!

kellyr21, WOW! that painting is gorgeous. I'd totally buy it. I'm sure it looks beautiful in your space too. nylene, there is no pressure in the team challenges. Just motivation to create. We can't all be as prolific as grammadee! Heck, I'm in the midst of garden stuff & house deep clean/reorg, I don't know how many things I'll accomplish this month. grammadee, are you excited about your trip? I did get my first batch of cucumbers canned into pickles. I have zucchini which I was suppose to deal with tonight that didn't happen, we had a fire until the rain came. I've got tomatoes and green beans ready to deal with tomorrow. Hopefully Friday I'll be available to work on the craft room all day. I have to get it usable and get some cards made pronto. Hope everyone is having a great start to their August!

LisaDV, as I read your message my heart did a leap when I read we had a fire....until I realized that you were talking about a fire pit fire. We can hardly breathe here right now because we are surrounded with fires. Even the huge one in CA is blowing to us. That was my first thought! Glad that wasn't the message you were sending. Is it OK if I posted 2 more challenges? I didn't see that they had been cut off. Hope I didn't do something wrong. I am creating layouts in my head.

nylene, I’m sorry to have posted so confusingly. I had originally put a campfire but it’s not really camping in the backyard. We were talking about the fires in California and all over the west coast, so I should have been more cognizant. Yes, to your challenges. I don’t think a cutoff has been set yet. Our fire pit. The log in the back is the walnut tree ds fell with just an ax 2 years ago.

Adding your challenges in when you did is just fine, nylene. I think it is exciting that so many people have thrown in so many different ways to have fun! Enjoy your family while they are there. And then you will need a couple of days to decompress, but there is lots of scrappy month left! That is an awesome fire pit, LisaDV! We have not had a weiner roast this year. We went to ds's nephew's for supper a couple of nights, but the meat was cooked on the barbecue. We have not used our firepit for years here, and it has become all grown in so would be dangerous to use now. Glad you had a restful weekend, kellyr21. Those are great vacations, too. It must be nice to have one of your paintings hanging on your wall. I can smoosh paint around but certainly can't produce anything that looks like an artist created it! How is your reno coming, @elaynef? Did you end up getting the roof repaired? Have you had any time in all of that to do any scrapbooking? How is your summer going, woodysbetty? You mentioned that you and your dh are considering a move? What did you decide to do? I did some prep for our trip today (We leave on the 9th). We drive to Edmonton on Thursday evening, then fly out for Orlando Friday morning. We will be staying at a timeshare condo until the 20th. The kids and their families will start arriving Saturday and will be there, staying at the same complex for most of the week. Our anniversary is on the 17th, and I have a photographer booked, as well as a reservation for a dinner for the 21 of us. The kids start leaving on the Saturday morning, and the last will be gone by Sunday afternoon. We will be the last to leave. Went to town today. Paid some bills and picked up meds and some other things from the pharmacy that I need for the trip. Also put a notice in the local paper to invite people to a small function the week after we come home, and ordered a cake for the function. Hoping to get a bit of scrapping done tomorrow. I have a photo I want to scrap for the Donna challenge, and it will meet a few others as well.

Now that the kids have all gone home, I am suddenly exhausted. I spent 2 hours last night going through all the photos, editing, choosing among the girl's photos of our events. I have narrowed it down to 300 and need to go through it again and order the ones I want to scrap. I hope to do a little prep work tomorrow and then start scrapping in earnest on Monday. kellyr21, Angie walked into my scraproom and loved your beautiful painting on my wall. She was amazed that you did it, so I pulled up your blog of the other things you have painted. She is in love with your work. She really loves the one you posted above for your living room too. You are so talented. Have a wonderful trip, grammadee. It sounds so exciting. LisaDV, that's a great fire pit. You have a strong DS to cut down that walnut tree. Walnut is HARD wood! I need to run, but hope to hop back on before Monday. Sending good wishes to all our Pokeys!

grammadee, we don't roast hot dogs on our fire. It's just for the fire. The kids will have a couple of marshmallows. With dd's dietary issues, we stopped having hot dogs because even my all organic all beef or all organic turkey would set her off. DH just likes fires and looking at the stars. I rarely make it to star time. nylene, I would be exhausted too, so good for you to already start your photo editing. Today, ds had his 3rd drive with the instructor. 3 more to go before he can get the license to drive with the parents. (Where's the emoji with the terrified mom biting her nails off?) Yesterday, I started taking apart my craft room. I got almost one wall (the sewing/mixed media) cleaned out (still have a peg board and 2 small shelves to take down). I spent 3 hours organizing sewing notions and getting them put away nicely in a rolling tool cart I bought for going to the crop. I hope to paint that wall tomorrow. It won't be pretty but I'm hoping it'll suffice. I have ds's orthodontic appt on Monday, so thinking that's a good day for garden preserving too. This will give me all day tomorrow, Tues, & Wed. to see what I can accomplish in the craft room. Wish me luck and lots of energy. msliz, justjac, @elaynef, woodysbetty - how's your August going? Hope to be back sometime this week. I

I was so happy to find your pages in the Team thread and Gallery, nylene. You’re b-a-a-c-k! Hope your scrap room deep clean Reno goes smoothly, LisaDV. You are braver than I. I am still in a flurry of veggie preservation and trip preparation. Hope to finish the last round of freezing this morning. Have a hair appointment for this afternoon and told everyone I refuse to do garden work with a new hairdo, so no more of that after today!. On Sunday we celebrated our niece’s 25th wedding anniversary. Her sil booked a photographer, and I got some cool candies so there will be lots of scrappy opportunity there. I have an almost finished page on my scrap counter. Hope to do up its partner and share them both tomorrow while dh is in town for appointments. Talk to you then.

grammadee, I hope you get your veggies picked and preserved before you go. I know you must be sooo busy today. I hope you have the most wonderful trip and vacation with your family. I am so happy to be scrapping again. I forgot how much I enjoy just working and losing track of time. I do have to prepare for an addiction meeting tonight, but dinner is leftovers so I should have another 3 or so hours to scrap. I can feel my stress just melting away. LOL LisaDV, I wish I had my scraproom deeply cleaned. I have spent over 2 hours organizing, but it needs more than that. I know you will love scrapping in a neat and tidy room. Hello to each of you Pokeys. I'll be back later and post my layouts.

nylene, I love your layouts. Each one is so beautiful. I hope I get to the gallery to leave love soon. grammadee, what's the easiest and quickest way to preserve tomatoes? I was thinking of make sauce or canning them somewhat whole just to move it along. I hope you have everything ready and can relax a bit tonight before your travels tomorrow. Don took the kids fishing today, so DD is trying out her new motion sickness band that pilots/airline people use. It delivers a signal that makes the palm and fingers tingle. I hope it works. I'm trying to catch up here on the forums while they're out. So off I go.

grammadee , what's the easiest and quickest way to preserve tomatoes? I was thinking of make sauce or canning them somewhat whole just to move it along. I hope you have everything ready and can relax a bit tonight before your travels tomorrow. Depends on when you want to put the effort in. I like to cook mine into lasagna or meat & tomato spaghetti sauce in big batches when they are ripe, and then freeze the finished product. In the winter I can just pull out and cook. I very seldom end up with all of them ripe at once. We leave them out in the garden until early fall, and then I pick them all green and layer them in boxes in a cool dark place in the basement. I do the batch cooking when I have enough of them ripe to get all the mess over with in one day. But if you don't mind doing all the cooking later and you just want to get the tomatoes out of the way now, you can freeze now and cook later. The quickest way to preserve tomatoes to use later is to simply wash them, pare out the stem end, and then freeze them like that, whole, in a ziplock bag. When you want to use them, dunk the frozen tomato in hot water, slip off the skin, and then add the whole tomato to your sauce. You can blend or process them later once they are cooked. Have fun!

This is what I needed to know. I have so few ready for saucing right now, but if they stay out they're going to go bad. So frustrating. Why can't my saucing tomatoes ripen all at the same time? And eating tomatoes can ripen as a few a day. It's really not too much to ask. Thanks for answering! Have fun on your trip.

So butchering day went ok. It was really hot and sunny. It was cloudy until we set to work, of course. We only got the turkeys done, but they eat so much dang food and it's good that they're gone, but we already miss them. They were so sweet. I don't know what breed Don got, but if I were to keep turkeys all year round these would be the breed I'd go with. I even finished a layout yesterday. Digital. I've shared on the Bonus Challenge thread and the August Sharing/Commenting thread, but sharing here too so I can get the extra point. lol. My dd came in while I was posting it on the August thread with the challenges met. She's asked if Calvinball was now in August. I told her about our monthly challenges and she's like "mini Calvinball every month" with wide eyes (like you're nuts wide eyes, not the wow that's exciting wide eyes). lol dTheLifeOfATeenageBoy by Lisa Davolt, on Flickr I'm getting ready to take Logan to another driving session and run errands. Tomorrow dd & I will be attending a library mural painting session. So I hope to get some short organizing sessions in on both days. Sunday is reserved for preserving the garden again, so maybe I'll work on another layout on my breaks that day. That's my weekend. Dee's off on her adventure and is having a great time I'm sure. What about everyone else? What are your weekend plans?

This month is flying by. I've been lucky enough to spend some time in crafting, because it's too hot to do anything else, but it's only been in the mornings. It seems like the rest of my days are spent driving people around and running errands. And my house is a wreck again (that doesn't take long! ) I want to try to get DD15 to spend some time with me this weekend sorting through the rest of her stuff that's still in the craft area. And she has a bunch of photos on her phone that I want from a trip to NYC with DH earlier in the week. nylene, it makes me so happy to see your layouts in the gallery! I'm so glad your wrist has mostly healed. Is using it getting easier for you since you've been crafting again? LisaDV, you and grammadee amaze me - the farming life is not for me. I wish I had your energy and drive! I'm glad you're getting your crafting time too, though. Is your craft room back in order yet, or is that why you went with digital for DS's layout? The mural painting sounds fun. DD participated in a couple at her school and enjoyed it, though she was pretty sore afterwards. I hope your DD is okay later today after holding the same position for so long. Did the motion sickness band work for her when she went fishing? grammadee, enjoy your anniversary trip and take lots of pictures to scrap! Our 25th will be on the 14th, but we'll be staying closer to home. I'm hoping to get that photo of DH and me that I didn't get at the wedding last month. We don't dress up very often these days, so I need to take advantage of it when it happens! kellyr21, I can't wait to see the photos of your updated living room and kitchen. I'm sure they were beautiful before you started too, but change can be good for the soul so we don't feel like we're frozen in a moment in time. I'm glad you're finding some bargains too! Waving hello to @elaynef, woodysbetty, and justjac Happy Scrapping everyone!

msliz, it's fun to see you scrapping. You are on a roll. I hope you can eventually get your craft room back and that it cools off so it is more comfortable. How are your girls doing? LisaDV, love the layout. Sweet sentiment that will be important for him to read in the future. I can't believe he is your "little boy" all grown up. How are the driving lessons going? How did the seasick band work for DD? grammadee, we are all jealous. Hope you are having a great time. justjac, have things settled down for you? When do you start school again? @elaynef, have you finished all the wedding albums? I hope you have had some time to do some nature walks or something relaxing. kellyr21, are you enjoying your living room? I hope you are taking some time to paint/craft in this hot weather. woodysbetty, how are things at your home? Do you teach Yoga through the summer too? Hope you are enjoying being back home again. I did another page last night and this morning. I loved this photo of Drew with thousands of ladybugs. Nature Boy

nylene- Thanks for showing us all your layouts. So glad you are scrapping again/ grammadee- We are all hoping you are enjoying your trip. lisadv- love hearing about your busy, busy life. and you even do digital! kellyr21 love the paintings misliz wishing you success with the dd and the clearing out! justjac, woodysbetty- hoping to hear from you soon. elaynef, have you finished all the wedding albums? I hope you have had some time to do some nature walks or something relaxing. Still working on wedding. I'm doing about 11 pages in each of her cousins albums. Not sure how many I have left. There are 11 of them. We have had some short adventures with the grands this summer and are planning a camping trip in October with 4 of them while their parents celebrate their 20th anniversary in NYC. We prefer our adventures in the spring and fall and winter. Too hot and crowded in the summer. My new furniture is supposed to be delivered next Sunday. The decorator said she would probably come Wednesday and we will start getting some accessories. The roof project won't happen until fall. So I hope to have a nice redecorated den for a few weeks, anyway.
I did some organizing of supplies and found a pretty 6x6 pad that matches the wedding colors and have done some pages using them. I haven't tried to get into any of the challenges, but I should. They were really good at getting me to try new things when I tried them before.
dh ran into a principal of the private school that is in our church. He was buying me some black cardstock and told her I scrapbooked. She wants to give me a big box of supplies that someone donated to the school that they don't want. That will be a project! Dh seemed to get the idea that it is huge. I don't have room for my supplies now....not sure what to do. I told him she should hire me to come teach scrapbooking, not give me more supplies!

Hey everybody. I have been mostly lazy since I got back from Colorado. I ended up having a summer cold the first week back. Then Dean and I headed out to celebrate my aunt’s 80th birthday. It’s about a 4.5 hour drive. Then when I got home I had a crick in my neck for a few days. Now I’m good to go and trying to cram in as much as I can before heading back to school in two weeks. I’ve been making Christmas cards and mini-LOAD is starting today. LisaDV I love that page. Whole photo backgrounds are so cool. nylene I’m so glad you are scrapping again. Awesome layouts. kellyr21 amazing paintings. I’ve been working on some acrylic pour paintings. grammadee I hope you are having an amazing trip. Waving hi to @elaynef and msliz

msliz, This whole year has gone by super fast already. And I'd say it's just the age thing like they always say as you get older time seems to go by more quickly, but my 13yo has been lamenting how shouldn't it still be like March, how did it get to be August. My room is not nearly completed which is why I'm working on digital layouts. I'm loving your disney pages. I still can't get the 7 Dwarf mine page out of my head with the gems you made. nylene, that leaf border is so adorable. I know I've already said it elsewhere, but it's very clever and different and I'm so going to use it sometime. @elaynef, Did you get the furniture? or is it this coming Sunday? It's always a happy day when you find something you like in your stash. I just found the old FPD's 12x12 stamp sets and acrylic shapes. I loved those shapes. Can't wait to use them. justjac, Sorry that you got a cold after coming back, but so glad that you had a good time. It doesn't seem possible for school to be starting already. I hope you can pack a lot of punch into the next couple of weeks. DS has 2 more drives and then he can go get his license to drive with a parent/guardian. I kind of like having someone else take him out. But he says he has improved a lot from the first drive. DD's electronic band worked really well for the fishing outing and for the library outing. Then yesterday was the dentist and not quite as well. She's been sick today, but it still doesn't seem as bad as she used to be. So I'm still calling it a win. I really didn't mean to have so many outings all together. Thursday we go to see Jim Gaffigan, the comedian. Then I said we need to give her a good week or week and a half before trying another outing. The mural at the library is coloring in little squares (like 1/8 of an inch) with colored pencils. It's suppose to make a picture of leaves when it's completed. It's mimicking pixels. The coordinating artist printed out sheets with the squares and gave each a letter or a number. Then each pencil has a letter or number taped to it. Oh! My! My poor eyes got a massive workout trying to read those letters/numbers through the paper. Occasionally I'd have to ask dd to read for me. Especially since they were upside down for my seat at the table. We definitely want to go back, but have to plan better for dd and the travel. I didn't get any canning done on Sunday, so today I prepped 25# of tomatoes today and the spaghetti sauce cooking on the stove to can. I hope to put up some peppers too, but I'm just freezing them. I still have salsa to make, not can. But it's so good I can eat it as a soup. Most of our little chicks are definitely laying or maybe all and the older ones have slowed down. But I'm getting anywhere for 14-20 eggs a day at the moment. whew! Don took 13 dozen to church to give away, and he took like 6 dozen the week before. I told Don we need to put his trail cam in the coop to see who is laying and who isn't. Then we could decide which ones get to stay on for winter. Oh, and when I went out to feed/water them this morning, a bear was crossing our property to go into our woods. Not that far from the house at all. The kids were walking the dogs just over a week ago and got close to the woods and had something growl at them. I said it was probably a bear. Luckily, ds keeps a cool level head and instructed dd how to go about leaving the area. Otherwise she would have ran. Exciting month.

Happy Wednesday! Hope you all are staying cool. It have been so hot our here all Summer which is not normal for us. In fact, we have one of those portable a/c for our living room but had to get one for our bedroom. I just can't sleep well when it is too hot. So relieved to have a cooler bedroom now. I've been working on redecoration still and cleaning. I even have done a little art too.
Although I am not done with our space, here are some pictures of the current state.

Love the colors and textures of the pillows and throws. I got them from Burlington, Home Goods and Big Lots.

The sign "Be Brave" is from Burlington. I am gonna put a picture of my dh and I in the blue frame.

These lamps are so pretty in person. I got them from Home Goods.
So this is just one side of the room. I am still working on the other sides. Here is a look at my bookcase. I am gonna put some white contact paper in the back wall of the case to lighten it up.

nylene - Yes, I am enjoying decorating. I can't wait till it is all done so I can really enjoy. You have made some beautiful pages. I gotta take a close look in the gallery. grammadee - I hope you are having a terrific time!!! Congrats! LisaDV - What an adventurous life you are living! LOL! Bears, teenage driver, chicken eggs, home hade tomato sauce... I wish I lived close so you could send me eggs and sauce. The library art sounds like fun. I wish our library would do a mural or something like that. Neat! justjac- What a whirlwind Summer you have had. I am glad you are having fun and still have a few more weeks to go. I remember when I was a sub teacher, I enjoyed my time off too. @elaynef - Yeah, your couch is coming soon. Then the decorating begins. I know you will have fun with that. Do you have a color scheme? Oh, I am happy to find out we can get a new couch soon. This one is 12 yrs old and ready to retire. Where did you order yours from? msliz - Yes, refreshing our living room had been good medicine and lots of fun too. I especially loved finding such great times at low prices. We live in "big box store" city and it paid off for me. I still have a few things to get and if feels good not to have to leave my city to get them.

Well, we have survived a crazy fun week—and 50 years of marriage—and have lived to tell the tale. The kids and families have all left for home, and dh & I are layin low at the resort. Our only plan for today is to call the resort shuttle to drive us down to the entrance for ice cream!
flying back to Edmonton on Monday. Tuesday morning I plan to get the first batch of photos printed. I think there are more than 300 photos on my phone, including the ones I took, the Disney photo pass ones, and the pic’s posted on the Operation Florida shared iCloud we set up with kids and grand kids
tried to to attach a couple of pic’s from my iPad but I guess sharing with you will have to wait until I am home

Good Wednesday morning, Pokeys! One thing I want to do today is go through all the new creations in the Gallery and the August share thread. So glad you are crafting again and enjoying it, nylene. Welcome back to the FUN! Glad your dd is finding travel a bit easier now, LisaDV. Our dd’s little guy has extreme separation anxiety and he had a huge meltdown during their trip home Sunday. A PTSD type thing where in his little brain he was losing our family forever after saying goodbye to us all. This one was relatively short lived, though. He started calming down when he realized they were getting into their own car after landing. And then They got hold of one of the aunts who assured him we were all still family. Thanks for sharing your newly decorated room, kellyr21. Looks very cozy. When will we get to see your new furniture, @elaynef? After this trip I don’t think we will have the resources to spruce up this place for awhile. Still lots of decluttering to do: is that considered redecorating? Glad you have had some time to rest and unwind before going back to work,, justjac. No wonder you got a cold after all that excitement. Hope you are feeling better. We are home but not unpacked. Lots of work to get the house ready for company this next weekend, but I plan to take it pretty easy today, just enjoy being home. Dh was out cutting grass for a couple of hours yesterday evening. I haven’t been out to the garden yet, but will do that today. Also need to put a box together of decorations for the come & go tea we are hosting at the Seniors’ on Sunday—the last of our anniversary celebrations. Our nephew’s dw and a couple of her teen nieces have volunteered to decorate. I found a few things in the basement this spring, plan to use the shadow box of our wedding photo, and picked up a few things at Party City yesterday. Just need to figure out a guest book. Thinking of using the one from our wedding...

Happy Thursday! I have been cleaning, working on my kitchen nook, and some art. I got some pillows for the nook but I am taking them back. The material is too delicate and would be perfect for a bed but not the kitchen where oil and food float through the air. I need like outdoor patio pillows. So tomorrow I will be going to look for new ones. There is a Home Goods I haven't gone to that might have more selection. Fingers crossed. Have you all been to Kirkland's? One just opened in our city and I had never heard of it. We went on Monday and it is very nice. Great décor items with affordable prices. I will be going again just to walk around. grammadee- What a trip you and your family had!!! I know you took lots of pictures and have so many fun memories. Did you go on any of the rides? I haven't been to Disneyland in ages and never went to Orlando. Maybe one day we will go. Sounds like you need a week or so just to see park. Huge! Waving hello to you all and have a nice weekend!
