don't know if this interests you but I have included photos I get from the internet if I can't take my own. I included photos of the school my dad went to, the beach where he grew up, even an aerial view of the neighborhood I grew up in. Perhaps there are parts of the stories that could show other aspects of his life. |

Thank you - I need to do more research in many cases in order to do that (Dad was a military brat and I'm not exactly sure of all the places he lived growing up - he was born in Malta in 1925 and by the time he dropped out of school at 14 the family was back in Oxfordshire but I'm unclear where they were in between) and then with the military (he enlisted in 1943 and retired in 1980) he was all over the world. Dad never talked much about his childhood or the war years (WW2 and Korea). I've been slowly trying to trace him through the years (I do genealogy) but I tend to get countries not specific places. |
