Yeah, he probably wants me to wear it for 'shenanigans' but I'm too pissed off to even contemplate it. I am starting to find it amusing though. DH has always bought me things like this. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, btw!!!!!!!! Even with the most perfect body, this look seems impossible to pull off, but as others said, your DH probably could see you in it, so I take it as a compliment. That being said, I'd hope that he gave you a few more gifts of things that YOU would really love too! |

I once got a couple of lovely, lacy push-up bras - 2 cup sizes too small. Apparently he had read that if one wears them a little small the "push-up part works better". So he looked at my current old lady tshirt bras & ordered accordingly lol.

I was gone most of the day yesterday and missed this. Happy Birthday lainey! I’ll agree that it was a really bad gift. About as bad as the baby car seat DH gave me for my 36th birthday. Not only was I not pregnant at the time but I was also 100% NOT wanting to be. I was NOT amused.  To add insult to injury it was the only thing he bought me that year. Not amused. Thankfully after the reaction he got (which was not the reaction he expected) he has never done anything quite that stupid again. (And I agree with all the others who said that gift was for him, not you. I hope he saved the receipt so you can get something you actually like!) |
