I have a couple... I like having the ones that make a stamp edge, and I have two pairs that match perfectly the wavy edge on my grandmother's old/original photos... When I scan and print those, I make sure there's a large white border and then cut the edges... I personally can't stand photos cut like that, but because her originals are like that, I feel like it's more true... They're for an album that are just her photos so it helps make it feel like her <3

No thanks. I could never make the design look correct continuously if it was longer than the scissors. Border punches work better for me, but I rarely use them either. I only own 1 design. I still have some and love using them. I make a line with a pencil on the back side of the paper to help me get the edge straight. Since I do mostly pocket pages these days, I don't don't have long rows to cut these days.

OK, so where can I get these? I have yet to see a border punch that makes fringe-y grass. Thinkin' I might be needing some scissors! www.ebay.com/itm/2-Provo-Craft-Scissors-paper-edgers-Squiggly-Lines-Used-/301316951090?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4627e3cc32Here is the link to a pair on ebay so you can see what they look like - the purple and yellow ones. Grass looks great, especially when you layer it. Today at a crop I called out - does anyone have any deco scissors? Crickets. Then a young girl new to scrapping pulled out some riffle edge ones and asked if they were deco scissors. I cried with happiness, cut my little paper and vowed to put mine into my tote in the future. Thanx for the link!

This is what I use mine for, too.
I'm just not cutting my photos and double mats with the Victorian scissors, anymore.

I only had a few deco edge scissors. But I still use them on occasion. I have a large and small deckle edge, a postage stamp edge and a small & large scallop. The large scallop came from the dollar store My pinked edge scissors are just an old sewing pair. I had a few more but gave them away. I don't use them often, but glad I kept them around. Like another poster said, I draw a line on the back side of my paper and follow that line to get a straight cut, this works especially well with my large scallop pair. Most of the time to get a similar effect I pull out a border punch.

I know people still like them because all of but two of mine disappeared at a weekend crop I went to. I still use the scallop and zig zag ones that I have left mostly like a border punch as some have mentioned.

I know when the LSS was going out of business, suddenly a lot of things just disappeared from the crop room. Everything was for sale, and the owner was trying to recover what she could from the sale of everything, but some people just walked off with stuff instead of buying it. When I was helping her pack, she was pretty upset about how many things had vanished. Theft didn't used to be a big problem until she was closing. It was pretty upsetting that people would do that. I think it stinks that people took advantage of your willingness to let others use your scissors.

Funny! I just donated 8 pair to our church garage sale. I kept a couple, but never use them.

I almost donated mine from back in the day, but my daughter still uses them for school projects. I don't think I would buy more though. I am a sucker for Teresa Collins stuff.

I was pretty shocked because I knew everyone there and I had written my name on my supplies. I would gladly have loaned out anything they asked for and probably would have given away several of them if they had just asked. I'm always amazed at how people feel entitled to take things they want without any thought about how it affects others.

I assumed from your first post that that's what happened. People actually STOLE THEM? Wow. Just wow.

I have a Fiskar's organizer full of them! I think I have them all, but I never cut photos with them, just paper. The kids used them for projects and I just cannot bear to get rid of them. Just proves that what is old becomes new again!
