I would pronounce Tarek to rhyme with Derek. Boehnk I think would be Bank or B(long o)nk.
I would call him T-Bone.

I spelled boehnki wrong.
It is pronounced Binky. I don’t get it.
Tarik. Tear (as in rip) ick
My husband works with a guy who pronounces it tar ( car) ick.

No idea. The way I choose would almost always be incorrect. Having done roll call with many classes, I'd say Mr. XXX. Can you please pronounce your first name for me. I find if I hear the person say it first, I am less likely to mess it up.

The two Tareks I know both pronounce it TAH-rick.
Boehnki - umm, I'd want to know the ethnicity of the family. English people pronounce oe one way, Germans another, etc. etc.
ETA I just Googled it and found "BANKee"

The Tariq that is in DD1's class at school spells it with a Q. His father is Egyptian. I would pronounce Boehnke as Bonk.
