I'm not a fan of weddings that are just a show of "hey,look at us!" Parachute weddings, scuba weddings etc.

Yeah I agree not in good taste...
The article is fascinating though..I would first think, leave it alone but then again, if it is just going to disappear... if they can save some of it.. but then again I don't like that idea either... I have always been fascinated with the history though... I have been to a couple of the Titanic exhibits..
