I'm looking for some different ideas and didn't find too much interesting on scrapbook.com. I've twice done the altered black 4x6 album with the autograph on one page and photo on the other. Have any of you done something different and have it uploaded somewhere to link me back?

Characters stamp/autograph with a black Zig Writer on smooth white 4x6 cards. These uniform signatures yield endless options for scrapping them. Rather than create an autograph book, I include the signatures on my pages in different ways (e.g. framed, chalked, inked, misted, stamped, distressed, double-/matted, border-punched, diecut into shapes, as titles/borders/captions), each reflecting the mood/style of the layout. HTH, & enjoy your vacation!

I actually prefer a store bought autograph book. They have them there for about $8 and they are so cute, I like it better than a homemade one which seems bulky. I think it's easier for the characters to sign a store-bought one too. Not to dissuade you - just sharing what I do!

For our cruise last year, I ordered one from the Disney store online and it worked great. I got it on sale (there are constantly sales going on so it's worth it to get their emails) and had the characters sign only on the right-hand pages so I could stick a photo on the left. I realized once we got home that MOST of the Photo Pass character pictures are vertical so I'll have to either crop and print every pic to make it work or photocopy the autographs and use the photocopies on regular layouts. DH just confirmed today that we're going to DisneyWorld in a few months! WooHoo! We will definitely do the Photo Pass again, it was so worth it to us. Since so many of the character photos with DD were vertical last time, I'll plan for that this time. I have a Cinch and will make a slightly larger format wire bound book with vertical pages that the characters can sign for DD so I can just slap the printed Photo Pass 5x7 photos we get into the book when we get home. Those photos come with the predesigned, preprinted borders on the pictures so the pages with them don't need a lot of extra embellishing anyway. I bought a couple of Disney paper pads with the characters on the papers, and I'm pretty sure there are duplicates of every design. Maybe I'll also crop down the pattern paper for each of the characters and mat the pieces on cardstock, clipping them to a small clipboard. When we get to each character, I'll clip the corresponding page to the front of the stack and see if I can get the characters sign that for me too.

How about a Snap album in the 6 X 8 size? You could do the pages with a 4x6 on the bottom for photos and put the autograph in one of the 3X4 slots. Use the Say Cheese or your own card or memorabilia in the other small slot.

I use one of the 8x8 project life albums. I have characters sign a plain white tag that I keep on a ring in the park (with a zig writer). Then I put them into the album with a photo. I had held on to several trips worth of signature before I found this album on sale last year and I LOVE what I was able to do with it. If you are interested in seeing some photos of it, let me know and Ill post some.

I use my cinch and create a small spiral autograph book for each of my kids. I use chipboard for the cover and back. I let my kids decorate the chipboard front and back with disney paper/stickers, their name and the year. I make them 5x7 so they can put the 4x6 picture in the book right next to the autograph. They are a little bulky but not bad. They love making them and putting the pictures in.
