They are on sale for $7.79 (approx) for a pack of 4 plus you say ten dollars on orders over $50 with the Code save ten, what do peas think of these cubes for layered stamping? I just bought some altenew layered flowers and I want to try my hand at ink layering

I can't really help because the only MFT ink I've used is the black one, which was pretty good. Might be worth giving one or two colours a go for that price? For layered stamping I usually use Altenew ink cubes.

I like the MFT hybrid ink cubes for stamping. I have a few I have used for color layering too. The only thing is that they are discontinuing them right now. So, if you get started with some colors, and really like them, there won’t be refills for the ink cubes (unless they are keeping certain colors in stock). I am so surprised that they are getting rid of so many colors and the ink cube sets.
For color layering, I really like the Catherine Pooler ink pads. They are foam pads, and just stamp so easily. Beautiful colors too.

I bought a whole bunch of these on the sale but after thinking about it I ordered the altenew cubes because they made more sense for the layering I want to do. I’m going to return them to mft. Costly mistake as it will cost me round trip shipping but I ordered a bunch and don’t want to keep something I won’t use
