Kyle Griffin with more..
“John Dowd, Woodward writes, once said to Mueller: "I'm not going to sit there and let him look like an idiot ... guys overseas are going to say, 'I told you he was an idiot. I told you he was a goddamn dumbbell. What are we dealing with this idiot for?'"
Ah what Dowd doesn’t get, you don’t need anyone to make trump look like a dumbbell, sadly he does that all on his own.

Oh oh.
Ari Fleisher - Republican.
“I've been on the receiving end of a Bob Woodward book. There were quotes in it I didn't like. But never once - never - did I think Woodward made it up. Anonymous sources have looser lips and may take liberties. But Woodward always plays is straight. Someone told it to him.”
Doesn’t look for trumpie. Twitter rant coming?

The rest of the world may be laughing but I don't really think they are. I think they're scared and pissed that they can no longer walk all over the US Australia is neither scared of, NOR "walking all over" the USA. But we sure as hell are laughing at you. Maybe tune into some of our news or talk shows, no-one has any respect for your Government - not even our Government. They have enough decency to be polite in public, but they are mocking your leader in private...and yes by default that also includes the people who voted for him. Intellectually we know that not everyone voted for the big orange baby, but the whole country has been tainted with his stench.

This is exactly way I don’t have kind words for those who voted for trump, voted third party to send a message, those who chose not to vote because of the dumb reason “I’m tired of voting for the lesser of two evils, or those who chose not to vote because they were just too lazy to get involved. Elections have consequences and thanks to the gang above we are living through this nightmare of the trump presidency. No let me change “don’t have kind words” to “I’m intolerant to”.

John Harwood - more from the Woodward book.
“Cohn came to regard the president as ‘a professional liar’ “
Prompted this truth from Paul Waldman...
“I was terribly shocked to find that Trump was...exactly the same person he was on the campaign trail and had been for his entire life. Who could have imagined it?”

Transcript of phone call between Trump and WoodwardThis is bonkers by itself. But in the conversation, Woodward reveals that a) he taped every conversation he had with his sources and these tapes were then transcribed by his secretary and b) there is nothing in the book that does not come from a firsthand source.

I particularly like Trump saying both 'yeah, Lindsay (Graham) told me about it' AND 'I'm just finding out about it today' in the same breath. LOL. Classic Trump. Oh, and KellyAnne Conway being there, being handed the phone, and VERY obviously deflecting and in her non-answer to Woodward's questions about who she spoke to in order for him to get an interview with Trump. (that no one would have let happen, of course.) the whole exchange was classic Trump: 'since you didn't talk to ME, it will [of course] be an inaccurate book.'

A fun little fact from MSNBC...
“Former EPA Admin. Pruitt's use of a round-the-clock security detail that cost taxpayers more than $3,000,000 was not justified and was more than twice as expensive as his predecessor's, according to a new report by the EPA's Inspector General.”

And even more from the Woodward book via Shaun King...
“FULL STOP.
A woman was murdered by a white supremacist in Charlottesville & nearly 20 people were brutally injured. Trump was FORCED to condemn them.
Bob Woodward just revealed that Trump immediately told aides that condemning them "Was the biggest fucking mistake I've made."

MSNBC...
“Fred Guttenberg, father of Parkland victim, Jaime, tries to shakes hands with Brett Kavanaugh: "My daughter was murdered at Parkland."
White House says an "unidentified individual approached" Kavanaugh, but "before the judge was able to shake his hand, security had intervened."
The video shows otherwise.

The rest of us see what you see.

On another note: Overwhelmed FEMA called on 'bottom of the barrel' staff for 2017 disasters, GAO saysBy John D. Sutter, CNN Investigates Updated 2:46 PM ET, Tue September 4, 2018 (CNN)The Federal Emergency Management Agency was so overwhelmed with other storms by the time Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico last year that more than half of the workers it was deploying to disasters were known to be unqualified for the jobs they were doing in the field. That's one revelation from a Tuesday report from the US Government Accountability Office (GAO), which portrays a federal government stretched thin by successive disasters to hit the United States and its territories last year. Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico followed Harvey and Irma -- all within 26 days of each other, according to the lead author of the report. "By the time Maria hit Puerto Rico, they were down to the bottom of the barrel," Chris Currie, director of emergency management issues at the GAO told reporters in a conference call Tuesday. "They were having a struggle getting people there -- and not just people, but qualified people." "The effect of this," Currie added, "is that during the response phase -- and especially during recovery -- these are the folks that are working with the territory and the state governments -- and they're not fully trained on FEMA's programs. "A lot of the highly trained folks were deployed, not surprisingly, to Harvey and Texas," at least initially, he said. In mid-October 2017, 54% of FEMA staff deployed to these disasters did not hold the title of "qualified," according to the report, citing the agency's own qualifications system. The unqualified employees -- a category that did not include contractors, local hires or employees from other agencies -- were listed by FEMA as either having "no proficiency" or as a "trainee/candidate."More ta link: www.cnn.com/2018/09/04/politics/gao-2017-disasters/index.html

Hey, white nationalists from the White House staff, represent! So do white nationalists support Kavanaugh or not? Weird time & place for that yeah, nobody holds their arms/hands like that 'just because.' And the furtive looking around, the way she's trying NOT to look straight ahead at the camera... that's pretty obvious. looks like some of the articles are trying to say that because she's the granddaughter of immigrants, she can't possibly be a white nationalist sympathizer. ...ummm- can you say Stephen Miller?!?

Yes, I've subsequently seen several tweets saying it's just her posture and she can't possibly be flashing the white power sign because her grandparents were Polish Jews who survived the Holocaust. To which I say only... Stephen Miller. Please try again.
ETA: Both she and her husband clerked for Kavanaugh. Maybe it's just a coincidence. But she should adjust her posture tomorrow, regardless.
