Yeah that's what I use - I do it all the time, it still would be easier/quicker not to have to.

Well, for my last trip I made sure we wore clothes that color coordinated with the Say Cheese line of paper. I had a ton of it and was having trouble using it. So, I don't think orienting your pictures for your layouts is all that strange. I do take mostly horizontal pictures and have to remind myself to take some verticals because I like the look of them on my layouts (although I don't do PL.) ...I'm sorry to derail the crazy train, but let's just jump tracks for a minute to talk about how awesome this is. Because I have done that for many, many occasions myself. However, since I rarely use Disney themed supplies (except, of course, Say Cheese... which I myself have only managed to use on Chef Mickey's so far!) I aspire to dress my family in colors that coordinate with the parks. So that when I'm choosing papers, I've got the best chance of having a line that actually coordinates with the colors in the photos, because the colors in the photo are a fairly natural combination. I plan the packing list in a spreadsheet based on what parks we'll see on what days to keep it all straight. For instance... Magic Kingdom is largely pastel. Of course there are exceptions, but the majority of rides/areas will nicely compliment softer colors. Since I have boys, I go for a pale aqua for them, and I try to wear yellow. Animal Kingdom: orange, green and/or khaki. Goes great with everything from safari to Primeval Whirl. One year I bought their bathing suits to match Typhoon Lagoon. (My husband is a bit of a wrench in the wheel, because I don't get to dress him, but he knows what I'm up to and tries to coordinate. I gotta give him that.) I know there are other scrappers who are this far gone, but it sure is nice to meet some. /hijack over! Thanks for indulging me!

Back to the actual topic While trying to take all horizontal pictures is certainly an option, perhaps we can address in tandem what can be done about the problem with the vertical divided page protectors? Is there a solution that anyone has had success with in keeping the photos from sliding out? The one idea that came to mind for me, was using small deco paper clips on the top of each vertical photo to hold the sleeve closed. Cute ones could look just like an embellishment, would be slightly different on each side but still cute front and back, and could even hold a small phrase or something if you desired. They even make Mickey ones. They're removable so you could still take the photos out later if you needed to, and they're quick enough to slip on that they don't negate the benefit of using PL. I think you should at least have a back-up plan, in the event that, like, "your most favorite photo you've ever taken in your whole life" ends up being a vertical shot from this trip. LOL As a sister in scrapping, I would want you to be able to use that pic in all it's 4x6 glory without feeling like you've got to compromise your scrapbook.

If I had to choose one orientation for WDW photos, I would definitely choose vertical. Since we typically visit during the summer, I would find exclusively taking horizontal photos difficult due to the crowd. It would be challenging to capture an unobstructed view of anything - castle, character, architecture, etc. - with the amount of space needed between the camera & subject to shoot horizontal! Best wishes... ...By the way, before anyone reminds me there are PL pockets for vertical photos - I hate them! The pics slide out!... Perhaps because I store albums upright, I've never had an issue with photos sliding out of (American Crafts, top-loading) 4x6 vertical page protectors. I suggest using washi tape to seal the pocket & prevent sliding, while still allowing access to its contents. HTH.

I don't do PL, so I could be not thinking clearly, but... could you continue to take pics vertical (if that is your preferred way) and just use the album as a flip page up, instead of turn pages sideways... as in just turn the album 90 degrees and have spine running horizontally to view?
Again, do not us PL yet, so just throwing it out there. Have no idea if doable.

I don't know if it would help at all, but I made my first scrapbooking video of my Disney album youtu.be/b8kW9JASLtk
