Thank you for your honorable, faithful and lifelong service to our country. You are a true American hero and will be sorely missed.

An honorable man. A man of integrity and courage. A life truly well-lived. I'm sad that he's gone. May he rest in peace.

America has lost one of its heroes. We won't be the same without him.

Much respect for a man I didn’t vote for, but could have lived with just fine, anyway. And lordy, do we need more like him right now.

Absolutely one of the true, greatest, American heroes of our time. He had integrity, spunk, respect for others, true character and a love for humanity. Wish he could have lived as long as his sweet mother.

Would have voted for him if he had chosen a running mate I could have respected. He was a great man who admitted his faults shortcomings and did so much for US citizens.

I went home last night and watched his Arizona funeral. It was beautiful. VP Biden gave an awesome speech. I feel like McCain was the champion of bipartisanship; wondering who can step up to his level?
