Welcome to September. Since there will be plenty of sketches coming at us this month how about a colour combo we can use with them? Use the below mood board to inspire your projects this month. (moodboard from here: Pastel Feather Studio) All types of projects count (paper, digi, hybrid, PL, art journaling, anything else you create) and if you share your projects online please link them here so we can admire and leave some love. You can find instructions to post in the Refupeas gallery in this thread but shout out if you need help.

Such pretty colours. And the brush strokes are inspiring, too...

Do we have to use all of the colours or can we pick a couple to use?

Do we have to use all of the colours or can we pick a couple to use? If just one or two colours inspires you to pull out some stash and create that would certainly qualify as completing the challenge. There are multiple shades of pink and mint green in the painting - either could work well with the monochromatic challenge.

I did a literal colour pick from the image for my September title page. It's great that the yellow is almost an exact match to number plate yellow Ignore Week 35 - I didn't want to drop lots of images all over Flickr so doubled up. I really like your orange and grey Linda , lovely soft colours that work so well with the earthy tones of your photos. I left comments on your food page elsewhere stinkerbelle but it's interesting seeing here that you both picked orange and grey for your pages.

Made the first page for a December mini album meant as a Christmas gift (photos + journaling in the future, obviously). Used Chinagirl828's beautiful colour moodboard as my inspiration while going through my Christmas papers and alpha Thickers and settled for some warm yellow and light blush pink.

JaneB I love the colour gradient - so simple but effective. sleepingbooty I love the blush pink and those thickers and that little leaf/tree are the perfect pops of colour.

I didn't set out to make this one (which goes with sketch #9) use so many of the colours, that was just a happy coincidence.

Lovely colours! For my layout I used the 'Be My Valentine' kit by Day Dreams 'n Designs. The colours are similar with a bit of purple thrown in. Most of us are even wearing the right colours (except my brother who spoiled things by wearing olive green!).
