When is the next time the planets will align?
One calculation of alignments within around thirty degrees (about as close as they can get) shows that the last such alignment was in 561 BC, and the next will be in 2854. All nine planets are somewhat aligned every 500 years, and are grouped within 30 degrees every 1 to 3 alignments.

Why is a bobby pin called a bobby pin? In 1899 the bobbing pin came into wide use as the hairstyle known as the "bob cut" or "bobbed hair" took hold. It was invented in Paris by Robert (Bobby) Pinot. As foreigners caught wind of his invention, the hairstyle gained momentum and the pin became known as "Bobby's pin."

I got...When was Thanksgiving made a National Holiday? It has been celebrated as a federal holiday every year since 1863, when, during the Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national day of "Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens", to be celebrated on the last Thursday in November.

Which famous person was the teddy bear named after? A 1902 political cartoon in The Washington Post spawned the Teddy bear name. The name Teddy Bear comes from former United States President Theodore Roosevelt, who was commonly known as "Teddy" (though he loathed being referred to as such).

Do cats have disposable thumbs? Answer: Some polydactyl cats present "mitten paws," which occurs when the extra toes are attached on the medial side, or "thumb" side of the paw. This can lead to a cat that appears to have opposable thumbs. Some cats have learned to manipulate the extra digits like a human thumb. Did it really say DISPOSABLE thumbs?

I got "what decade were the hippies?"
And the answer:
Self-described hippies had become a significant minority by 1968, representing just under 0.2% of the U.S. population before declining in the mid-1970s. Along with the New Left and the American Civil Rights Movement, the hippie movement was one of three dissenting groups of the 1960s counterculture.

Who sings the song Come as You Are?
Evan Peters, who plays the character of 'Lobster Boy' Jimmy Darling, sang a haunting version of Nirvana's 'Come as You Are' while backed by a band of fellow freaks. Though the fourth season of 'American Horror Story' is set in 1952, the show has bent time to feature modern music.

What year did they stop making nickels out of silver?
The United States changed the composition of its coins in 1965 from 90% silver and 10% copper to an all copper-nickel alloy. Dimes and quarters were 90% silver through 1964 and Kennedy half dollars were 90% silver in 1964 and then 40% silver from 1965–1970.
This is what I got when I asked this on Chrome. My first attempt was on Safari and all I got was a page full of links to articles on the hidden Google trick of asking “I’m feeling curious”.

My stepfather and mom worked as bartender and waitress in the 60’s. They’d come home, put their tips in a giant glass ashtray, and have us children sort through the coins, looking for dates before 65. Actually, we just looked at the edges, there was a rust color to the new ones, the older, mostly silver coins ( only dimes and quarters ) were all silver colored on the edges. At first there were lots of silver coins, but as theyears went by, there were fewer. But for decades I still always checked my dimes and quarters just in case.

What animal has five hearts? While it is not technically a “heart,” the aortic arch of the earthworm performs a similar function and is commonly referred to as one for the sake of simplicity. An earthworm has five arches/hearts that are segmented and pump blood throughout its body. Hagfish (4) and octopus/squid (3) round out the critters with more than one heart.
