"How many letters are in the Arabic alphabet?"
Number of letters: 28 (in Arabic) - some additional letters are used in Arabic when writing placenames or foreign words containing sounds which do not occur in Standard Arabic, such as /p/ or /g/.

What year was the blue M&M introduced? Color changes in chocolate M&M's[edit] In early 1995, Mars ran a promotion in which consumers were invited to vote on which of blue, pink, or purple would replace the tan M&M's. Blue was the winner, replacing tan in the fall of 1995. How does google know I have a bag of peanut butter M&M's on my desk ![](http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r481/2peasrefugees/Smilies/blink.jpg.gif)

Which bird produces milk?
The pigeon is one of only three bird species (the others being flamingos and male emperor penguins) known to produce 'milk' to feed their young. In pigeons the milk starts to be produced in the crop of the parent birds two days before eggs hatch.
File this under things about which it never occurred to me to be curious. I seriously had no freaking clue.

30 minutes a DAY? I wish I could do that!
How does a giraffe sleep?
In the wild, giraffes almost never lie down because of vulnerability to predators. They usually sleep standing, sometimes sitting, and they give birth standing up. When giraffes sleep, they curl their necks and sleep for about five minutes at a time, sleeping no more than 30 minutes a day.

Who invented the donut hole? ![](http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r481/2peasrefugees/Smilies/laugh.jpg.gif) The hole in the doughnut was invented by a 16-year-old sailor named Hanson Gregory. In 1916, the Washington Post interviewed Gregory, the man who claimed to have invented the modern donut back in 1847. Gregory was tired of eating greasy and undercooked donuts with raw dough on the insides.
