I just watched it, so it had been on my play list. I guess they have an algorithm that said I would be interested?
I just looked in my Netflix profile. In the 1st section ( Membership and Billing ) in email preferences,I have the boxes checked to get updates.

My sister encouraged me to watch this show but warned me it's a tearfest. I cry so easily now, not sure I'm up for it.

I love this show too in fact I think it has been one of my favorites that I've watched on Netflix (all thanks to whomever mentioned it here on the board). Love the time period, how sweet and caring the nurses are to everyone regardless of how poor they are. Can't imagine what the women went through delivering at home like that. I do agree that there have been times when I am teary, shows how great the program is. You can be sure I will start the new season today!

Season 4 Premieres March 29, 2015

Just saw (online UK press) that the 5th series has been signed off by the BBC- 8 new episodes will air in 2016. It will show progression, the challenges of the 1960's.
