I checked out Simon Says Stamp's blog to see what they were doing for their STAMPtember. I guess I would just describe it as "interesting". I personally would have appreciated a discount code on shipping. When their shipping is $6.99 (U.S. orders under $75) to me that is expensive shipping. Maybe there is a shipping discount code somewhere in those 96 blogs we can look through? I do like all of the blogs linked. That is a good way to be exposed to more crafters.

Well I just skimmed through the first 30 blogs on the list and all the codes are for free products of some kind - stamps, dies, stickers, tshirt and tote.
Wonder if there’s a general shipping discount code that will work?

Wow. I thought 96 was just a funny exaggeration. That is a LOT of blogs.

I have to say I hardly visit blogs anymore - much prefer to look on IG. But I will skim the list.

There are a lot of blogs on there! I like to find new crafters via blog hops. Then I either link to their Pinterest or add them to my BlogLovin account.

Yeah, I'm not going to sit still long enough to do a 96 blog blog-hop. Ain't nobody got time for that!
So far nothing in the Simon release has made me say "I gotta have that".
I'm hoping for some good collabs later in the month.

Wow, that's too many blogs for me...
I noticed 3 or 4 people in my IG feed are part of their thing, and although I liked the spider web stamp nothing else really jumped out at me. I'm cool with that. The "must buy" sales season is starting to feel endless and relentless, which means I need to step back and take a bit of a detox break. I will never find time to make anything if I keep shopping!

Just what I’ve been thinking as well. Especially considering I’m a low volume crafter in terms of actually creating stuff.

Thanks! I was just coming here to post this I'm just getting back into making cards so stamptember came at a good time for me. At first I didn't see anything I thought I wanted in the new releases, but when I looked through several of the blogs I got some really good ideas. I especially like Cathy Zielske YouTube channel and prairiepaperandink. Found several new people to follow as well. Some really great ideas for the plank background stamp. Very versatile. I also like the Christmas stamps .I want to emboss the ornaments and cut them out. And I like the festive tree stamp for my December daily.

Did you guys see the collab with LF? So adorable. For some reason I've been fawning over LF these past few months. (pun intended) scrappyesq I'm tagging you as a fellow LF fan! I have it in my cart. And I've already decided on my Christmas card design this year. I could maybe try to incorporate the branch and ornaments into my design. LOL! LF Nutty or Nice?

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

I hardly ever order from them. They have a great selection, but the fact that they charge for shipping, regardless of dollar amount, and they hardly ever have a general discount code, is why I rarely order from them. Their shipping isn't anything to rave about either - it takes forever, and I live in the same state. I can find what I want at online shops that are priced better, free shipping, and/or have general discount codes. I'm not a fan of specific sales, and they do a lot (i.e., Ranger, Copic, etc.).

I've been a sucker for everything Lawn Fawn lately, and this one is great too! I've got my Christmas cards well under way this year but I'm sure I can figure out a way to add something from this set to them!

For a long time I was all about MFT and thought LF was way to cutesy. But for whatever reason, my LF section of stamps is getting bigger and bigger.

I don't order from them often, only if it's something I really want and can't get it anywhere else - usually SSS branded stuff. I've found that most months they have a $5 off code, so when I have one of those I order and pretend that shipping is only $1.99.

I only order from SSS when I'm desperate because the shipping is so slow.
