here's my go at it and i swear i did use the sketch for inspiration! also, i'm going to add this disclaimer that i hope no one is offended. this is not necessarily my opinion of the photos, but a quote from someone else ETA: our names are not karen & daisy, that's a family joke. the lesbian photos by sadkid, on Flickr

OMG stinkerbelle, I think this is the best LO in the history of the world like ever! So funny! The pictures are classic, the story is brilliant (I like Aunty Lujean), your embellishments, the roller skates, that twine around the flair badge, I just love it all. Those glasses deserve a LO of their own as well, so Deirdre Barlow in the 80's! And that will mean nothing to you unless you watch Coronation Street but she's a character who had massive glasses! They're almost as big as your face, I LOVE them!!!

Had to do some switching to make this work but was determined to use up the rest of this paper for dgd wedding. I only have 1 peice left, but lots of ugly stickers. It's 11x8 and I used some very old buttons.

@elaynef - love how you straightened out the pics on the right side, and added pics/tilted them on the right. The design really pulls your eye through and looks great!

Here's my take on the left side of the sketch: End of Summer! Using up some old Bo Bunny papers!

kiwigirl that stitched circle! Be still my heart love how you embellished it too! I also like the multi-thicker title and all the cute kitty bits! @elaynef I love how you used the pretty florals even for an amusement park page! Your album is going to be lovely when it’s finished MDscrapaholic what a fun page! I love the colored journaling strips!

Love your LO @elaynef, it's so pretty with the papers and all the florals, great photos too! MDscrapaholic Wow! Love the colours, so lush and the little washing line of flip flops is so cool! I also love the coloured journalling strips, have you used washi tape? It looks fabulous.

I love how you sectioned off the pictures linda, it makes it easier to look at the pictures as a story. I also love how you interpreted the sketch this way! MDscrapaholic - I love the coloured journaling strips! And the subject, kids and summer are always the best.

Such a lot of cool takes on this sketch, and I am sooooo behind in comments on the board. (Have tried to keep up to date in the Gallery). @elaynef, I love the contrast between the vintage flowery pp with the Universal Studios photos (especially with the PIG!!!) What are your plans for the rest of those papers and the buttons? MDscrapaholic, those BoBunny papers just scream SUMMERTIME! Love them. And miss classic BB. Cute photos. Neat idea to fill the lower corner of the mat with that simple cluster. Love pumpkin carving photos, Linda, and the purple in the pp really helps those photos pop.

Here is my take on the sketch. It was really cool to see my dgd (aged 12) meeting Goofy this year. She was way to terrified to come within 100 yards of him last time she was at WDW 8 years ago. Hello Again by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I am claiming 5 points for this, b/c I included some faux stitching at the right.

Love pumpkin carving photos, Linda, and the purple in the pp really helps those photos pop. Thank you - that PP...it's cute but I sure found it hard to use between the purple and the busy pattern

Linda I love that funky heads paper as side borders and how you tamed it with the solid colors in the middle; really brings attention to those carving photos!

This is my take on the sketch. I have so many more photos from my son's birthday that I need to do another double page LO to fit them all in. The kit is "Birthday Wishes {Boy}" by Ooh La La Scraps.
