Hello! Here is your sketch for day 6 - so sorry it's late. The holiday has me off a day this week! Better late then never right? This is an 8.5x11 one page sketch from Amy's 4x6 Photo Sketch Blog
Sketchtember day 6 by Joyfulnana, on Flickr Sketchtember day 6 sample by Joyfulnana, on Flickr And here's my sample page. The twist for today is to Punctuate it! Use a hashtag, ampersand, brackets, exclamation point, etc. Share your page in the is thread and in the team thread as well if you are on a team so we can give you some love! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thanks, joyfulnana! I am sure the 8 1/2 x11 scrappers will love this, and it will adapt really well to a square, too.

Oh, thank you, thank you, joyfulnana, for a sketch designed for 8.5x11. I always have to wait until someone does the sketch in that size and then I use their page for the design. Can't seem to get my brain to translate 12x12 into 8.5 x ll. Love your sketch. I'm going to try that next.

Can't seem to get my brain to translate 12x12 into 8.5 x ll. Love your sketch. I'm going to try that next. I scrapped 8.5 x 11 for years and years, and I had the same problem trying to follow a 12x12 sketch so I feel your pain. I had also noticed in the challenges that there are several who scrap that size, and most 8.5 x 11 can be easily make 12x12 but not so much the other direction. linda - you have been doing a fabulous job making the sketches work for you! P.S. - I will have a two page sketch coming later in the month

This is a little story I visualised and your sketch worked perfectly. While it may have a slightly rude word as its title the sentiment that there's an arse (idiot) for every chair makes me smile.
I drew the main image myself. Papers are from Soul Smile by Amber Shaw and the font is Heavenfield Typewriter. I even managed the twist of punctuation with my self-made rubber hashtag without realising that was the challenge

Here's my effort. I knocked this one up in about 30 minutes (clearly my Nuvo dots are not dry here!) so thank you for the nice, simple sketch joyfulnana ! I did mine 9x12. Oh, it is straight IRL, I'm just a pants photographer! Taking 17 for this, 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, 5 for sketch + twist, #7, #12, #15, #17, #31, #32, #33, #37, #48 and Sept Stash Challenge - washi and pre-made title.

JaneB - I love this page! And the rubber hashtag works great with the title lol (which I love too!) love those colors. Your arse's don't look like any hand drawing I know! You are very talented! cool that you used a hashtag without knowing it was the twist lol. nylene - I left love in the gallery, but wow! Such a beautiful page! kiwigirl - Awesome take! I love the bold black and bright yellow and all the photo turns!! I have always loved those things and hoard what I have lol. I love the multi-color row of nuvos. Great job!

I may have taken a few too many liberties with this sketch...I should have found a paper with more pattern for the strip across the top.

I think photo turns are my very favourite embellishment! They go on every single LO just about. I recently managed to find some more and stock up a bit, I also got some proper framing ones on eBay so I'm allowing myself to use them a bit more lol! I wish manufacturers would come out with them again, I would buy loads and hoard for the future!

This was a fun sketch to adapt to the 4x5 format for the 2018 December mini album I'm prepping as a Christmas gift for my mother who loves to knit in bed, in her PJs (I always buy her a pair of funky PJs for the holidays) and watch Netflix. Thank you so much for sharing it, joyfulnana !
Left page will have a small format photo added to it (maybe 2x2), right page will get journaled on once December rolls along and I find out what my mother will be binge-watching then... She doesn't have a clue about the alternative meaning to "Netflix & chill." And I'm not telling her. Sorry about the crappy pic: daylight's already fading here.

Here's mine, another layout for my wedding album. I'm adding journaling to it, just didn't want to share it online.

Mine didn't end up looking much like the sketch, but it started off there. Instead of the big photo for the middle, I used a photo block. But after I got the Mickey parts on there, I didn't want to add a title or journaling, so I just quit there. The Mickey bits were from scraps that I used to play with my gelatos for the first time. Thanks for the sketch, joyfulnana. It was a great jumping off point for me

msliz I love it!! I agree, it doesn't need a title or journaling it's perfect the way it is! I like that you did the Mickey parts in non-traditional colors yet, it's obviously Mickey.
