Eh up ducks! Today's Sketchtember Challenge is my own creation and inspired by a set of three photos of my husband. I have three versions for you, traditional 12 x 12-inch, 8.5 x 11-inch page and a 4 x 6-inch pocket card that can easily be adapted to make a greeting card. The 12 By 12
The Page Size and Pocket Card
If you use Photoshop you can download the templates from Dropbox here (I hope!) - 2Peas Sketchtember08.zip Here's one I made earlier...A round of applause for my husband, who is once again being a good sport to let me share these close-ups Here are the 8.5 x 11-inch page and pocket card. Supplies: Let's twist again...I keep forgetting about the twists for the extra 5 points when I'm doing the challenges, and so it's no surprise I've not thought of a twist for my challenge. Except... here's my twist: nothing. No special requirement at all. You can claim the extra 5 points for simply using my sketch in whatever way you like. It's Saturday - what other excuse do you need for 5 points?

Awesome sketch, JaneB! Don’t think I can get to it until next week, but when I do I think I will choose shading or sketching shadows for my title letters as my twist.

Thanks for the early morning push! I should have had coffee first and maybe I would have only had to cut all of those little letters once, lol!

Thanks for the early morning push! I should have had coffee first and maybe I would have only had to cut all of those little letters once, lol! Great photos - I say that as someone who always has trouble photographing a room. I got all warm and fuzzy when I read the quote because that's how we felt when we moved in here I did giggle a bit about having to do the writing twice, sorry!
Excellent colour matching with the green and blue, they're very nice shades and even though it's a boy page it's got a soft feel to it. And I love the little extra embellishments

Thank you! Someone just asked me on FB if my swirl was done with Nuvos and I think my skills are being vastly blown out of proportion lol! It's a very old MME one but now I'm thinking.... I wonder if I could so something so spectacular? I may have to try at some point! MDscrapaholic I love your LO, the dinosaurs, the journalling strips and the cute photos, it's lush! I can not see a mistake either, I'm dying to know!

I wonder if I could so something so spectacular? I may have to try at some point! I almost asked the same question, then I thought "No, not with all the different sizes and the dots being so even." Then I sat thinking about how you could do it...a stencil as a guide. even a paper stencil... Then I was distracted by cricket and tidying up with DH

kiwigirl holy crap, gorgeous!! Love the sentiment of course all those bright colors and textures and girly goodness make this one of my favorites of yours too! Please tell me that’s a bling swirl and that you didn’t do that with nuvos. I might have to hate you, if so. ETA I read further down and see you didn’t do it by hand. I’m free to love you now MDscrapaholic omgoodness your page is so cute!! I mean baby photos, natch, but those dinos! You did a fab job with the sketch! i noticed the booboo but only after i looked twice. but it's easy to fix i left love in the gallery for the rest of the pages
