My turn again today! I apologise in advance for this sketch, I thought it looked great when I was trawling around looking for sketches. It does look great. But it's really hard! There's a lot of banners and circles on this one and when I got down to doing it, it took a long time to do both my LOs. So don't hate me, the rest of my sketches are very simple! I moved this one up so you had longer to get it done if you're aiming to do all of them And here's the example I did. My twist will be the same for all my sketches, use something old! It doesn't have to actually be that old, but something that's old to you. Maybe one of those items that you've had hanging around on your desk for the perfect LO, use it. On my LO above I used those old Studio Calico number stickers, lots of brads, Magic Mesh (which is actually new to me but it's seriously old!) and the purple border sticker. All stuff I dug out of boxes. Those number stickers I loved so much I bought multiple sheets of the stickers in a sale, so I have about 8 sheets of the darn things! So glad to have finally used one!

And because I did that example last month, I had to do one this month to claim the points and sketch + twist since I want to do them all. So I had to do another one! I used really old Studio Calico papers on this one and old fabric brads. Claiming 21 points for this. 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, 5 for sketch + twist, #4, #7, #9, #12 + BONUS, #15, #16, #17, #22, #32, #33, #44 and Sept Stash Challenge = pre-made title and something from my last purchase.

Ooh this will be a challenge indeed! It reminds me of the Scrapbook Generation sketches that have lots going on too; it takes me as long to make my template as to do a page And to tackle it twice? You are a star! Both of your pages are brilliant and have a different feel. I love the black background with the bright colours and how you've made the second one a bit different by drawing on your banners and circles. Excellent, my dear

Hmmmm.... this one might call for my trove of clocks and gears... love BOTH your pages, kiwigirl. Love how they are so different, yet both represent the sketch so well.

Great sketch kiwigirl. Love your takes on it - the way the colours pop on the wonder of nature page is gorgeous and I love the sweet clustering of kitties on your second page.

OMG, those are amazing. I will definitely be trying a Halloween layout with this sketch - I procrastinate on Halloween layouts, like 14 years worth of them... but yours for some reason make me think Halloween colours and doodads would be great here! I also think I will steal your doodley border!

wow kiwigirl i love it! a very fun sketch and omg your LOs they're both gorgeous. i love the dark colors on the first, especially the funky floral framing the page and the use of the mesh and numbers. the second is my favorite of course, with that sweet boy photo and awesome b&w border (that reminds me of beetlejuice for some reason). i'm going to take up you multi-color nuvo border challenge for sure after seeing these pages!

It's a bugger isn't it KelleeM! I think the sketch looks great, really interesting, lots to try or ignore if you don't like that bit but man, when I started doing the LOs, it's a LOT of work! I love your LO, your banners and circles are amazing, so colourful and the black spotty scalloped border is super lush and awwww, how cute is she, what a sweetie! Way to go!

I thoroughly enjoyed making this today I've added drop shadows, metal and wood effects but otherwise it's colour changes only from black to white. My old thing is the Impact font for "sun" - well, it's been bundled with Windows for years!!!
KelleeM It's still recognisable as the sketch yet you've made it your own too. The circles border instead of numbers, moving the title up to the left and all the bright, happy patterns work well together

KelleeM gorgeous photos, I especially love the main one. All the scalloped circles really soften the design and I love the strip of hearts. JaneB this is so lovely! The photos really pop with the neutral colour scheme.

Alright, here's mine. I don't mind admitting I really struggled with this (as in I got about 3/4 of the way through and seriously thought about tossing it). The finished page is not one of my favourites but I certainly don't dislike it. I think half my problem was I got part way through then had a brilliant idea of how I could have better used this sketch for a totally different page and promptly lost interest in this one At least I managed to use some old stuff

Oh Chinagirl828 I'm so sorry, it really is a bitch of a sketch isn't it! I have learned my lesson with this one, it's horrible! It looks great and then you sit down to do it and wow, way too many objects! I love your LO, love how you have the banners & circles at the bottom, the cool punches border, the bow, the title over the top of the journalling is just awesome. I think your take on the sketch is wonderful!

well...I struggled with this...and it doesn't look much like the original sketch but...it's done and I'm counting it and the twist - the letters are c.2002 Club Scrap and the papers aren't exactly from this year either, lol.

My take, used old stash for twist. I'm a little disappointed in myself that I didn't get the "banner" to work using the die cut branches and butterflies like I planned, but they just kept looking better to me in my traditional triangulation layout daring dancers by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Good idea to flip it around @elaynef and I love your banners, perfect! I see what you did with it Linda and I love your banners and pumpkins. I tell you what, 1973 was a damn fine year Your LO is super lush kitbop, I think you did the right thing there, it's all perfect! Love those die-cuts (I think I just bought that die myself!) and yout clusters around the tabs & the butterflies, it's all so cool!

@elaynef I love how this looks flipped sideways! Linda the little row of pumpkins on the banner are perfect and I love the photo of little you. kitbop I really like how the background paper pulls all of this together, it's not something I would have considered but I love it here.

This did start out following the sketch, but while watching a movie it moved into something else. The circles became the little winter icons. I have a hard time translating 12x12 pages into my size. The icons with the wire and little buttons were purchased in the 90's while my DD worked at Pebbles. I think that's old enough. Papers are 2012 and 2013. 12-25-2017 by Nylene Budge, on Flickr

Trying this sketch again - a little truer to the original but still modified. I'm counting this as a UFO as I was scanning the 2005 layouts and thought I was done and came across a page protector with a loose photo (this one) and had to stop to scrap it. Also claiming the bonus - those tooth punchies date back at least to 2005 or so and possibly earlier.
