I’m starting a workout challenge today and part of the challenge is that you have to post selfies with public hashtags. I’m not sure I want to post that on my regular account (which I never actually post on, just look at other people’s stuff). If I make another account can I easily switch back and forth from one account to the other on my phone? Or should I just suck it up and post the pics on my account and enjoy the extra accountability?

Yes you can have two accounts and it’s easy to switch back and forth. I believe under settings you can add the account. Super easy to set up as well.

Most teenagers have two - their Insta and their Finsta (Fake-Insta). Its how they thwart their parents

Yes. Create the other account. When you are logged in to 1 of them, from your own home feed page at the top middle is your username. Click that and it will bring a drop-down where you can add an account. You'll then enter the credentials for the other account and it will link them. You'll switch back & forth between the 2 accounts from that same area. I have 1 account for myself (which I hardly ever use) and I created a 2nd one for the dog so I could post her naughty antics for dd to see when she moved away to college Between dd & her friends, the dog has more followers than me, LOL! Yes, you go into settings. I think you need a separate email address for each IG account, but once the usernames are set up it's very easy to switch between them. I have three - my personal, my photography, and my snail mailing.
