I'm looking for a super delicious chocolate cupcake recipe. I have an amazing peanut butter frosting recipe but the cupcake recipe attached to the frosting recipe was disappointing; it was supposed to yield 12-15 cupcakes and I was only able to make 7, and even that was a stretch. The cupcakes were also dense and not very flavorful.
I also tried a different chocolate cupcake recipe last weekend that yielded 14 cupcakes but the flavor was off.
I am a good baker and can follow a recipe, and I didn't make any adjustments to either of these recipe. I used high quality ingredients and measured everything perfectly!
Anyway, if anyone has a fantastic chocolate cupcake recipe they would like to share, please leave it bellow or supply a link! I'm a bit cupcake obsessed lately so if you have a different flavor cupcake recipe (or frosting recipe!) that's amazing, feel free to leave that below, too!

I make these, Super Decadent Chocolate Cupcakes. And I either use this chocolate frosting recipe or this peanut butter frosting recipe. . I also use the smitten kitchen chocolate cake recipe (the peanut butter frosting one) and use the peanut butter between the layers and then the chocolate frosting recipe linked on the outside. It is requested by everyone in my family for their birthdays. I should say that for the cupcakes I always use hot water, we aren't coffee drinkers and don't have any in the house. And I usually throw in a cup or so of chocolate chips into the batter. I also usually double it. SInce I am usually bringing them to an event and need a lot!

I make a variation of this but use coffee for the boiling water.

Thank you for all of the replies!
I've made the Pioneer woman texas sheet cake recipe before and it is delicious... It never occurred to me to use the same recipe for cupcakes!

I love Ina Garten's chocolate cake recipe, and so do all my friends and family. I use the same recipe and bake for 8 - 11 minutes depending on the size of the cupcakes. Beatty's Chocolate Cake
