There are my two. I adopted them together in July 2013 when they were each about 3.5 months old , though they are not siblings. They came from a feral rescue in Seattle, though the cats themselves were brought over from Eastern WA from a TNR program. Neither is very snuggly (they do like being close to me) which is a little sad, but I'd imagine it has to do with how their lives started out.
On the left is Pandora the Princess Court Jester. The baby. She's asthmatic, so I have to give her an inhaler twice a day. Luckily she's VERY treat motivated, so that helps. She also is very high strung, so she gets a half a kitty prozac pill a day too....that has helped her be much more comfortable in her skin thank goodness. She used to hide in the master closet (got to the point that it was nearly all the time), and also pull her fur out in clumps. I've had cats my entire life, she's the most *unique* personality I've ever had.
On the right is Dot. The Duchess. Very regal and sophisticated. She's sitting here waiting for her treat of dried tuna flakes. I let both of them on my deck occassionally. Unfortunately our condo's decks are attached, so unlike my old place, they can wander and annoy other people's pets through their windows, so if I wanted to let them out with me, I also had to figure out a way to get them back in when necessary. When they come when I call them, they get some tuna flakes, usually while sitting on this scratching post right next to the slider. Believe it or not, cats CAN be trainable.
ETA: these didn't upload how I thought they would. Pandora is on top, Dot on the bottom. Who's next?

Can I post to both? Lol. I’m a cat and a dog person, I don’t think I could ever be just one or the other. Vader is my big beautiful boy (4 years old now I think) and the babies as I still call them (over a year old now) are London (Fog) and Earl (Grey). I’m a tea lover too. ETA: MichyM your cats are gorgeous! Attachments:

Such beautiful cats! And yes, I agree MichyM they can be trainable. We used to take ours on walks with small dog harnesses. Okay, they took us on walks, but it was so fun they loved being outside! They also spent a bit of time on our porches when we lived in apartments. Here is the only photo I have easy access too. This was Butterscotch, named for the color of his markings. As a kitten they looked just like pieces of Butterscotch candy. He was crawling up the steps in the garage into the group home we worked at out in the country. His mom had been run over and we found several of his siblings outside who hadn't made it. As soon as I picked him up I was done for. He was very clingy from the beginning, did everything with us. I have pics of him sitting on my shoulder as I brushed my hair over the other shoulder. When I changed sides, so did he. As you can see, that didn't change as he grew older.

Oh, that photo is too funny, and he's adorable! I'm glad he found you. I have a harness for my cats, but decided that trying to walk two with just one person could be an absolute cluster-youknowwhat. If you want the one I have to walk Butterscotch let me know. I'd be happy to send it to you, it's like new.

But we lost him in 2010 so I like to imagine he can run around safely outside without a harness now Yes, it was definitely a two person job with both of our boys. And the end of the walks were a PITA because they often didn't want to come inside and we always lived on the 2nd or 3rd story so they could have their balconies. You know cats when they don't want to do something...we ended up carrying them up the stairs many, many times lol.

We’ve vowed not to get any more dogs, Johnny’s passing was so hard. Vader’s brother passed and we were thinking that’s it no new animals it’s just so hard when they pass but my dh caved and got the babies from a rescue group. They were suppose to be his babies but they’ve all bonded with me. Lol. Poor dh. We thought about bringing home another kitten, but decided these 4 are enough.

Here are our two...Cosmo and Wanda. We adopted them from a local cat café. Really just went in to have some cuddle time, but fell in love with these two. They were/are a bonded pair...so both had to come home with us. :-)

It's an older photo, I don't seem to have many newer ones on Flickr. But he still does this, and lies like this around the house as well. Apparently it means he feels comfortable? He lies on top of me a lot so this is frequently my view:

craftykitten I love it! That was exactly my view all the time as well, it was a bit disconcerting to wake up to sometimes. When I'd sit Butterscotch would park himself across my rather ample cleavage as well, whether I was watching TV, reading, or on the computer and he even tried it when I was crafting. Just had to be all up in our business!

dewryce yes he won't leave me alone! Which is lovely, and adorable...but sometimes a little bit frustrating! I wouldn't change him though. We would love to get a dog but we don't have enough space in our house because of all the OTHER pets...I'm going to start a new thread for them!

DS's cat, Isabelle. She was dumped at our place a little over a year ago and the vet estimated her age at 6 weeks old. http://instagram.com/p/BktM_GvAIn_ Phineas and Cooper. Cooper was dumped here about 2 yrs ago. The vet thought he was about 4 months old. Phineas was dumped here about 6-1/2 yrs ago and the vet also estimated his age at around 4 months old. http://instagram.com/p/Bf7FOfFFNHB Sparky-our only cat that wasn't a dumpee. He is 17 yrs old and if you can swipe right (not sure if you have go to instagram to do that) you'll see a pic of him when we got him-at around 5 months old. Along with my son who is now 19. http://instagram.com/p/BnIZpKZgz3U

Maestro (Solid) and Trebek (Racing Stripes) - Brothers we adopted back in 2010. Unfortunately we lost Trebek just last month. Miss the heck out of the silly wonderful loving thing. I'm so sorry. How is Maestro doing without him? I worry about that from time to time with my 2.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BeZYXj-jkLq And this is Jo Buttons, so named because of her one white button. She is Pippin’s biological mom and the smartest cat I have ever met. She is very sweet and her fur kind of glows, he tell her she is shiny, she is a total love. All the cars were strays except for Walter who was the offspring of a stray my mom adopted, so I have loved him from the day he was born. Jo Buttons brought her 5 kittens to our porch and we kept Pippin because she was so bonded to her, the other 4 went to a no kill shelter. Kit was abondonded at our vets at 3 weeks old and Boo was sleeping in our flower pot around Halloween when we adopted him. Yes, we are crazy cat people with 5 cats, but they are our fur children and we love them all so much.

This is our handsome BIG boy, Tiger. He's huge, close to 25 pounds. He's not just fat, he's tall and long and just overall a big boy. He's sweet and feisty and just overall the best kitty. He is attached to our ODS and has designated him as "his" human. TigerPatrick And this is our pretty Lola girl. She is quiet, but super curious about everything. She loves us, but not in an "in your face" way as Tiger. She and YDS are buddies. Lolacutie

tenakee I'm so sorry about Trebek (((hugs))) How is Maestro doing? We found our other cat, who was not very affectionate his whole life, suddenly became very loving and clingy with us when we lost Butterscotch. But he was so old we hesitated making him go through adapting to another cat around the house. Since I was at home most of the time we settled on just constantly loving on him now that he would allow it. Skellinton They are all beautiful but I think Jo Buttons might be my favorite. I love her coat and the (ornery) cat attitude that every surface exists simply for their pleasure.

This is Karen. Somebody secretly brought her into our home when she was about 4 weeks old. We couldn't keep her because at least 1of our dogs is not cat friendly. She needed tho be treated for ringworm, and during her last dip at the vet she received a serious chemical burn. It took a couple months for her to recover and by then we were attached. She lives upstairs.

This is Tortie. Sadly I lost her in June after she suddenly went into liver failure after dental surgery. I think she was about 11 or 12 - don't really know as she was a former stray who just turned up in the neighbourhood in 2010 and adopted me. She didn't really like anyone else but became really affectionate towards me.

This is Selina Kyle, which is the real name of Catwoman. She’s a 3 year old Siamese. Actually I think she’s a ninja the way whe runs around the house getting into everything. She is wearing a black mask after all. She was a show cat in the alter (spay/neuter) class for a while and a regional winner. Now she’s retired and happily sitting on my lap as I type this.

This is Misty, whose full name is Mysterious Ways after the U2 song. ‘She moves in mysterious ways just seems to fit. She’s 7 and coincidentally the aunt of the first cat whose picture I posted. She’s a real sweetie and a non-stop talker. She used to be a show cat as well Attachments:
