i actually remembered to post this in a timely fashion! sign up below if you'd like to be a part of a team for the month of October. we are six months into this fun challenge and i don't know about everyone else, but i am LOVING it! i've gotten so many pages done and used so many older supplies and am having a ton of fun doing it.
if you haven't joined a team before but are considering it, i challenge you to take the plunge! what do you have to lose?
sign-ups will close the evening of september 30 so that the teams can be coordinated and posted for everyone.

I would love to join now that I have my mojo back after a loooooooong hiatus! I'm not really sure how it works, so I will go and read up on some of the other threads. I should probably ask first, I only do digi scrapping, will the challenges work for me? I certainly have a decent sized "stash" including some old kits that could work for the challenges where you have to use old stuff. And I'm sure I could find most embellishments in my kits. If not, then I'll just buy some more!  |

The only thing you would need to do differently is to add up your points for each page so we can determine a winning team at the end of each month. Well, they let me in and I'm purely digital  I try to use the digital equivalents - if it's called a brad digitally then I can use it as a brad  The rules are pretty flexible; I make what I have work. In the end if all you do is make a page then it's all worth it.

With 2019 just months away and the promotional timelines for holiday planning, I've been very busy at work since last week so my participation in this month's Sketchtember challenges has dropped (I got home around 8PM last night and all I wanted was to eat, watch an episode on Netflix and sleep). I plan on finishing that December mini album this weekend though to give my team some extra points (and be done with it, too). I didn't get around to my own transition-into-autumn mini album (just the one page) so I plan on diving back into that in October. I'll still be busy with work but I'll definitely try to complete my own mini. I need to make a couple of Christmas cards as well. If this sounds like a good enough plan to join the Team Challenge, please sign me up.

scrapnnana - it's for cards or layouts (digital, traditional, mini, PL) or any other papercrafting (although there's usually an other crafts challenge also). The rules change a little every month but you earn 1 point for your card/layout/project and 1 point for sharing it here plus points based on which challenges it meets (the cardtober challenge, the regular monthly challenges (sketch/scraplift, bonus, diecut/cricut. Donna) plus the monthly challenges (which team members post the first day or so of each month). If you're doing Disney - think of a challenge that you can post that'll get you bonus points for each Disney page you do (can be something like scrap a vacation/outing or it can incorporate colours (use red/black/white) or supplies (use 5 brads or a diecut or....)) For anyone worrying about whether they'll have time to scrap or if they'll be able to follow through - no stress, no worries. Every month some folks sign up and don't manage to scrap anything, some folks do a few cards or layouts, most folks do some cards/layouts, and there's always a couple of over achievers. It's all good.

gale w and scrapnnana, glad you decided to join the party! To answer your questions, any creative project will work! Most challenges have to do with paper projects like pages or cards, or maybe wall art or gift boxes, but there is usually an "other crafts" challenge as well. As Linda says, the challenges change each month, but the rules are usually pretty much the same. You will be put on a team by stinkerbelle, and then you will earn points for that team for each item you finish. Extra points can be earned by meeting specific challenges. You can also pose your own challenges so that you can earn points every time you use a favorite item. Here are the September RULES for you to check out. Here are the September challenges. But there will be a whole new crop come October. The CardTober challenge (a card challenge a day for the month of October) will be linked in to the team challenges for points as well, much as Sketchtember was this month.
