Here's today's sketch and it's a pretty simple one compared to mine for day #9 lol! Here's a 9x12 sketch And a 12x12 I did the sketch from this LO I did back in May when I did the A-Z LOs As usual, my twist is USE SOMETHING OLD! It doesn't have to be actually old, just something that's oldish to you, something that's been hanging around on your desk for ages, waiting for the right project to go on, something you've been meaning to use for ages, or if you've been scrapping for many years, something that is genuinely old. I just want people to use something up on the LO

I'm so glad it's a simple sketch. I have an oversized photo I want to scrap, and I think I can adapt this sketch!
Great colors and textures on your pages!

nice easy sketch - thank you! Your layouts are both gorgeous! I turned it into a 2-page layout but page 1 is from the sketch. Claiming the twist on this one - some of the papers are from last year but the Merry Christmas one is older and that star brad has been in my stash for eons and the sticker on page 2 isn't new either.

Here is my take on this sketch. I used a banner instead of the tag. Fall '18 cover page by Gramma Dee, on Flickr The Reminisce photo realistic paper is from last summer and those brads and "gems" have been hanging out in my scrap room for way too long. Claiming 5 points for sketch + old product. Will also be claiming points for the Recipe challenge plus several others when I post in the share thread.

grammadee - great job using the photo-realistic paper - that's always a tough one (don't forget the point) - I love the change to a banner - might have to steal that for my next attempt

here's mine with loads of old stuff on it! the papers are creative imaginations, daisy d's and sassafras, the punchinella is probably 10 years old, the alphas are old jillybean soup and the MME tiny word stickers are ancient too. and i used eyelets!! which are actually new, but that's beside the point belly button by sadkid, on Flickr

grammadee I love how you incorporated the leaf embellies into the background and all the fun texture! Linda way to stretch the sketch into a 2-pgr! I love the classic color scheme and that paper with the reindeer and snowflakes is gorgeous!

I sat doing this yesterday, along with Sketchtember #27.
I am most proud of the tape measure The original is a line drawing and I spent a happy hour or so with a cup of tea adding some colour and a background. Digital kit is Penelope by Shabby Princess and the fonts are KL Beaches and Grainger.

Here is mine. Even though the sketch was quite simple, I really struggled with this one. I think because I really love kiwigirl 's example, and I just couldn't get mine to a point where I was 100% happy with it. The twist, if I was scoring, would be the photo. It's from 2004 when my just-turned-14yo son was only three months old and my about-to-turn 21yo daughter was only 7yo. Papers: "Little Dreamer" and "Absolutely Amazing" by Kimeric Kreations Elements: "Outdoor Play" by Lindsay Jane Stitching and word art: Springtime by Kimeric Kreations

Here's mine. If the papers look familiar, it's because it's the second page to a layout I made earlier this month (the title is on the previous page). The twist is the old Basic Grey paper. The colors on some of the layouts on this thread are really incredible!

AussieMeg - the colours, stitching, gorgeous! msliz - so subdued, it's very pretty, love the tiny dots. Chinagirl828 - you rock muted colours to the point of art! I don't truly like this card, but it's not the design, it's the pps I used...wanted to use OLD (like 15 years old) CADD papers I found (the red grid and green star) but I think I should probably just save them for matting... card holiday cheer by kirstendrew, on Flickr

kitbop I just commented on this card in the sharing thread and didn't even twig that it was this sketch hahaha! I even commented on the striped tag.... in my defense, I was so blown away by the super cute Reinbeer, I love it!

Well, in my defense, it was around 7:30 on a Sunday morning when I adapted this sketch so it looks... quite different from the original! I'm not sure what I was thinking (actually, I'm quite sure I wasn't really thinking). Anyhoo, strips of papers as layers and a big title to the left. I guess this still qualifies. Somehow.
The old twist is basically everything on this mini LO: the papers are from last year's Pebbles' Christmas line (I have a tiny stash: anything that isn't from the current year is considered old ), the tag is also from several years ago, the wood veneer hashtag title is from a 2016 Studio Calico kit, the ghost stamping was done with an Amy Tangerine roller stamp from a few years back.
A generic spread for my 4x5 December album. Because sometimes the unexpected happens and you need to document that too.

It's gorgeous sleepingbooty I love that title and all the strips are fab. I sometimes went wandering with the sketches cause I would look on my laptop at it, then go to my craft room and go on my merry way, thinking I was doing the sketch but clearly, I had forgotten what it looked like and was making it all up in my head lol! I think yous looks great, way to go!

Chinagirl828 love for you in the gallery kitbop I actually think those papers go very well with the tones in the reindeer, which is hysterical btw. Love the stapled twine (probably going to steal that, fair warning), the scalloped piece and gold splatters. Very very cute!! sleepingbooty love the fun mix of color and pattern on your tiny canvas! The wood title is perfect!

msliz - love that basic grey paper and those nice straight rows of nuvos! Chinagirl828 - gorgeous - you have such an awesome style! I love the vintage photo! kitbop - I love the reinbeer - the old papers look good to me but I know how it feels not to like the finished product - sorry. sleepingbooty - I love the PP strips and always good to leave space for the unexpected!
